Just beautiful. I appreciate Celine speaking from the heart, I'm sure it was hard for her and you could tell she was having a hard time getting the right words out (another reason I wish this had been a French language event). So much love and admiration for her strength. We love you Celine, sending you all kinds of love and warm embraces!!!

And on that note... it is way past my bedtime. Thanks for sharing the experience everyone. I love you!

Every speaker was brilliant and poignant and elloquent. Loved David's performance, he actually can sing. Linda stood out to me, and of course, David and Dave. It was hard to experience her so different, it's just not the same.

We can all agree that at least in english is the first time we see Celine so raw an open and being serious, sadly it had to be at this moment, she looked so fragile, lost and heartbroken, it really helped understand how important this man was and to those he worked with, wether a caddy or a CEO...
She looked like she aged 5 years in 2 weeks, I can't imagine being in her shoes now, she REALLY lost the love of her life, at the end of the day, we all want to love and being loved like Celine and Rene

Boy, what a tribute that was.  I missed the first few minutes, but stayed until the end.  Everyone who spoke was wonderful, they all had such nice things to say about Rene.  It just goes to show you were Celine gets part of her character from.  You can really tell he influenced her in all the good ways by the way he treated everyone.  The musical interludes were lovely as well.  I loved how everyone was doing impressions of how he speaks, but I gotta say, Dave Plattel nailed it, I thought his was the best.  I lost it several times, David Foster's speech and performance of course easily moved me to tears.  I had no idea he was going to actually sing.  I thought Celine's speech at the end was very sweet, although she seemed a little disconnected still, understandably so.  I don't think she expresses herself exactly the way she wants to when she speaks in English, but you could tell her words absolutely came from her heart, and that she loved and respected him more than words could ever really express in any language.

I'm so glad we got to see the service as well as this celebration, it really meant a lot of me as a fan of Celine.  It has brought me closure and I feel like I've cried more than I have for any family member who's ever passed away.  Celine holds a very special place inside me, and of course the man responsible for bringing her into our lives is Rene, so he holds a very special place inside me as well.  It's all been very moving to hear absolutely nothing but nice things about Rene, he was truly one of a kind.  I look forward to where Celine goes in the future and I'll be with her every step of the way, and I'm so thankful for him and everything he's done for her in the past.

Not really, she looked very similar to Delles tv special with the blue dress and hair the same way. All things considered she looks better than I thought.

She was very fragile. I felt like she was about to lose it. She truly spoke from her heart, what a raw, heartfelt, emotional speech. It must have taken a lot to hold herself up.

Glad we could be a part of this celebration of his life. Thanks everyone for coming together. Sending lots of love to Celine and her family.

Don't get me wrong, she looked amazing considering, even if the hairdo is the same, I think the HD shows how tired she is, and hell of a 2 weeks she had, Imnot saying she looks bad, just saying how pain can even change your face

Nice words from everyone. David Foster's rendition of TCOML surprised me so much, dropped a few tears.

Celine spoke from the heart, said things i wasn't expecting really. Made me very emotional too.

With all that we've learn abt René tonight, I can hope to go to bed and wake up tmw and try to be and act just a little like René was. He's a great model to follow. Thank you René

As everyone else has said, David Foster's speech was one of the highlights for me.
Also wow, he actually sang TCOML, when we all thought he'd just play.

As for Celine's speech, what can I say. I had no idea she'd speak for as long as she did. I could tell she was having a hard time at certain points, and the ending, just, god her emotion.
I am so greatful to whoever organized all the streams, it made me feel like I was a part of everything. Can I say I hope the trend continues, but under happier circumstances.

Céline, we love you and are so, so proud of you.
René, thank you once again for giving all of us a chance to know Celine, and, through her, the amazing man that you are. Bon voyage, Champion.

I've recorded her speech with my smartphone. And look: SHE GLOWS! She's got a halo! Somehow I imagine it's that immense love she felt and got from the love of her life!

Wow, she did beautifully, and held up much better through the entire thing than I thought she would.  She's got this.
I forget sometimes that her English has indeed gotten quite a bit better over the years; I mean, she didn't really read anything she wrote.  She just spoke from the heart and it was raw and completely real.  She can be a great speaker when not reading canned speeches off of teleprompters!  And sure, it would have been more eloquent in French... but you can't deny that was beautiful nonetheless.
And RC once again proved to be a rock for mom; he did't have to say anything, you could just tell.  
Hard not to be moved by all this.

Neither have I. Just, everything she's done over the last few weeks. Greeting the public for over nine hours at the viewing, all the little touching gestures from the funeral itself, tonight's speech which was clearly difficult for her, and, last but not least, allowing all of us to share these beautiful and amazing moments with her.
