We’ll need more than a couple likes and comments. We’ll need hundreds of thousands to make any impact.

Also, does anyone know who is in charge of her social media? Do they hire an outside company to post things? Have they ever confirmed who is doing the posting? We know it’s not Celine herself.

I really dont think we need hundreds of thousands.. the point is to post many times so we can catch their attention. Then twitter, instagram and even physical letters.

If you’re expecting a release, yeah - they need to know that there is a DEMAND. A few hundred people is not a demand. That’s a teeny tiny little blip. Think of how many people see a Celine Dion concert in one evening. Then multiply that by how many stops she’s doing on this tour. They would need 50-60% of those people at a minimum for business purposes to show that there’s demand for a product. If we’re going to do this, let’s do this in a calculated manner that could actually get a result.

This, or at the very least make one of the obscure songs performed during the tour hit #1 on the charts worldwide. Something like: “Tous les secrets,” “Le vol d’un ange” or “Ne bouge pas.” Just getting 100 “likes” isn’t a big deal. Hell, I get that on Facebook by just posting a photo of my beard. LOL

I’d suggest creating polls on her social media accounts asking “would you like to see the 2017 tour released?” See how many people answer “yes.” Ask “Would you be willing to write Feeling Productions to get the 2017 tour released?” See how many people say yes. If there aren’t a lot of replies, it means there’s not a lot of demand.

Everyone can agree that there’s no point in having  in having, say, 100 people send a letter, yes? That wouldn’t do much good. First thing to discover is how much demand there is for the product. THAT’S what you want to show/prove to Feeling Productions.

It’s crazy that we even have to think about how to convince them when they should’ve released everything long ago. Seriously, they’ve got so much to work with: one of the most famous singers ever, an infinite budget, tons of experience, access to anything, all important contacts, and so on. Other managers would kill to be in their position. They need to stop having that “we have nothing to prove anymore, we’re making enough money from tickets” attitude and get working! Aldo knew (and probably loved) what he was doing.

You have to convince a business that they’ll make a profit in order to get something released - that’s business, that’s the only thing they care about. Period. So, if someone wants them released, the first thing to do is act like a business...create a business plan and figure out how to make a profit from a release and then present THAT to the business that owns the product you wish released. All artists go through this. Its not a question of demand. Her facebook fan club is like less than 1% of her fans. And we all know her fans are buying physical more than streaming and are older so not much on facebook.

Of course you’re not going to have 10 000 likes on her page. Not even everybody can see the post with all the crazy fans posting crap every minute.

Its only the beginning and the point is to let them know they have to do something, we want their attention. The more its gonna be talk, the more they have chance to read it.

If we post many times on facebook and then twitter and then if Feeling keep receiving letters, maybe they will think about how they forgot the fans with the live dvd and that doesnt make sense to just keep them lock in the vault.

Can you stop with the profit? They dont make much profit with albums and they still release them. Other artist like Madonna still release dvd of their tour and many others put them on itunes and streaming.

And the most expensive part is the filming/editing and they already did it so they are losing way more money by not selling anything!

In my research - which I wrote in some thread - into how much money companies make from streaming...it appears that Sony is one of the leading companies making lots of money from album streaming. I don’t how much they make from Celine...they probably make more from back catalogue than new material. However, Celine herself wants to albums released because she makes money by using the album to launch a new tour...even if she doesn’t actually sing songs off the new album, audiences still flock to her in droves! So profit does come into all of it. All business is based off of profit. How is that difficult to understand, I wonder?

She doesnt need new album to go on tour : Celine 2011, Live 2016,2017,2018.

They have to think about the % of fans that CAN’T go to her shows. She doesnt go to every country in the world or not everybody can pay 300$ for a ticket. So they HAVE to release live shows. With all the profits they do with a tour and merch that should be mandatory! And on top of that : legacy!

I agree, of course. What I meant to say is that her current team members lack the passion. René loved show business and I feel Aldo did too. They used Céline as their window into this playground and actually enjoyed trying out all there was to try in show business, of course with Céline’s career in mind. Her current team needs someone who actually enjoys seeing Céline take part in everything and doesn’t just do it for money.

Plus, more exposure (of any kind) would help them make this hectic empire they’re managing more sustainable in the long run. They have to think about the profit they’ll make in 20 years’ time too.

Those small tours 2016/2017/2018 were tours of only 25-35 dates where she was playing countries she hadn't been to in a long time due to her Vegas contract. They were essentially greatest hits tours. In order for her to go on a MAJOR world tour and hit those some countries she went to in 2016/2017/2018, she needed a new album. Now, unless she changes the set list, those countries are still in for another greatest hits tour, but having the new Courage album spurred ticket sales because those countries were under the impression it would be something different than what they saw just a few years ago - which is why so many people on this forum got angry.

As for legacy, Celine doesn't have to any thing else AT ALL for her legacy. Her legacy will forever remain intact as one the highest selling and grossing female artists of all time as well as the artist who single-handedly changed the face of Vegas entertainment. They don't gotta do nothin' for her legacy.

You didn't ready my post either   I said that, unless she changes the setlist, Europe will still get a Greatest Hits Tour but her team tricked people into buying ticket to the Courage World Tour by releasing a new album which made it seem as if it would NOT be the Greatest Hits Tour.

And NO, Celine doesn't owe it to anyone to release filmed versions of tours that fans can't attend. Fans aren't owed ANYTHING from an artist. That's something to get out of your head right there.

And yes, they already filmed the concerts. However, you make several assumptions. 1) That they edited THE ENTIRE CONCERT. They could have just edited 30 and 60 second clips to show for marketing purposes. 2) Unless you have the contracts, you don't know that the contracts everyone signed (orchestra, backup singers, director, editor, set designers, costume designers, makeup designers, et. al.) included a DVD or streaming release. It could've been a contract for promotional purposes only. Again, being a part of 2 different performer unions, I know how complicated and specific contracts are when it comes to filming and if the contracts didn't have a clause for DVD or steaming release then they have to draw up new contracts and all the unions/artists will have to negotiate a new contract.

Well no i wont leave and no Queen Celine is not perfect and for the sake of god : she is NOT a manager! Since René and Aldo left, its getting worst and worst. The ship is sinking for a large % of fans that cant go to her show.

Like i said before, i prefer to try to make things change. Celine’s fans are too quiet and accept the lacks of her management for too long.
