Id like if they just released every song performed with no repeats, so chose a version of TPOL and use that one and then add songs like RTD which are individual.

All songs as in : Every song performed in its singularity. We would end up with like 40 songs i guess, over 2 CDS. English one and french one cause its only like 20 that are non repeated for each language

This tour was my favourite better then 2017 and 2018 it felt more emotional and more i dont know it just felt just epic plus all the behind the scenes in Paris and Montreal

It seems like ages since this was filmed and Xavier Dolan took Kit Harrington and Jessica Chastain out to see Celine that summer while shooting in Montreal.

And finally, we've got a trailer. Out in France in March, North American release dates still TBD (probably because it was critically panned...), but here ya go -



Kinda insane the amount of A-list star power he got for his first English movie (and this is after cutting Jessica Chastain's character from the film!)

What date did they go to Céline’s concert? I want to see her performance that night. I really like to see hollywood celebs watching Céline. That’s why i like Céline performing at awards shows like Oscars, Billboards, etc.

If we’re doing that, we need the 2016/2017 tours as a set. The first year was amazing because of her courage and strength, the second year was incredible for her vocal agility and set list changes.

Your best bet is joining the official group on Facebook, and recruiting as many fans as you can from there. CDF just doesn’t have the numbers anymore.

SuperLove's right, the official Facebook group seems to be the best option. Celine's website does have a "feedback" section that allows to send messages to Sony Music, but I think they very rarely answer...

Anyway, maybe these three tools could be interesting:

· Recruiting fans on the official Facebook group as SuperLove suggested.
· Using one same hashtag on Twitter like #CelineSummerTourDVD or something like that.
· Sending messages to Celine's website "Feedback" section (I said they rarely answer, but that could change if they see they have a lot of requests)
· A YouTube campaign could also be interesting.

Dumb question but where is the official facebook group? Is it just the official fb page? And also maybe posting a link here can also help if any additional members would like to join. When we tweet stuff out should we like tag Celine or Sony?

I was thinking about this last night will we be able to gather enough attention with just a few of us? I was thinking maybe we could try doing a trend on twitter or something. We have to do something huge so that Celine' team or Sony will take notice and actually consider it. I'm wondering if maybe we can get other pages to work with us so we can do something big so we can get the info to the right people. I know people are going to say it won't change anything, get over it on and on. But I say you know what some of us are still stuck in our homes quarantining it's not like we have much to do so why not give it a shot we won't know unless we try. And if we fail we fail but atleast that way we can look back and say hey we gave it our best shot.

Not enough people care about this, I’m sorry to say. You may get a hundred or so people who will take the time but you’d need hundreds of thousands, at the very least, to get a release.

By all means, follow your heart, and give it a try but please understand the magnitude of what you’re taking on. Only die hard fans or fans in Europe are even aware of the 2016/2017 tours. Most fans don’t know they even exist and , quite frankly, wouldn’t buy a DVD of it. They might stream it for free if it was on Netflix or Amazon Prime but they wouldn’t pay $9.99 to buy it.

As much as I want a audio/video release of the 2016 Summer series I know that at the end of the day it all comes down to cost vs revenue.  They won't invest money in a release if they won't get a return.

But they have plenty of options. From releasing both tours on DVD (which would indeed cost them money) to publishing official footage from the tours on social media, which wouldn't cost them anything at all (I think).

Im so tired of this kind of comments! She is Celine freaking Dion! Here in Quebec, artists doing shows in less than 1000 seats venues are releasing dvds. Im pretty sure if they can do that, Celine can too. Plus : the show is already filmed and edited. Im pretty sure they would make more money releasing it than now thats its hidden in their vault.

« But only the fans would buy it, not the general » well only the fans is still better than nothing! Same goes for the albums so what? No new album ever because only the fans would pay for it? That makes no sense at all! And releasing stuff for the FANS is the normal. This is what a artist do : taking care of the fan base.

René knew that. Many times he said « never forgot every fans, even those who cant buy tickets show ». Thats why we got dvds, live cds and album like one heart when Celine was all in A new day.

Since he left, i do not feel as connected with Celine. I’m starting to lose interest because sadly her team is only milking with the concert tickets. If you can’t go, you got nothing. They keep forgotten the majority of her fans. A album every 5-6 years is not enough to keep the flame alive.

So i prefer to try something than staying here doing nothing. I dont know why her fan base are not able de speak out loud together... « aw they will do nothing, sony stopped to care about celine » well i can say that her fans stopped to care too, going easy by accepting it.

Its time for a change. Its time to show Sony and her team that fans are still there. And now is the perfect time because everything is on pause! No tour, no albums recording.. nothing’s planned!

Celine doesn’t give two sh!ts about any of this stuff. Artistry and legacy always suffer when fame and money are the driving force behind one’s career.
