I think you'd better start learning French, because it doesn't look like this book is going to be translated into English. It's not even available on Amazon.... And a foreign language never hurt anyone...

LOL. Can I just say, actually, it does hurt.   I'm learning French now and there are days I feel like it would be less painful to bang my head against a brick wall in frustration. Or that it would be easier to push an elephant up a hill. But it's a beautiful language and I know it will be a good skill to have, if I ever get there, so I do appreciate your point!
I'm also hesitant to read this. I could probably do it, but it would take a very long time, and I'm worried that I'll misunderstand things and take it the wrong way and get mad at Celine...because sometimes that happens even in English!!

well maybe there is some managment or fan club of hers, maybe some publisher we can contact
as in the article it's pointed out that the english release is only probable but with our message that we want it in English it'd be more probable!

I did some searching and the publisher of the book is Xo, but I have not been able to find any contact info.  Maybe someone else can find an e-mail or website.

Well, good news people. There's an article in Le Journal de Montrealand it says the book will be translated into other languages too. Denise is quoted: "This book is for the entire world, not just the people of Quebec".
They say the book will come out in France first, in March, and it will be launched in Quebec during the Book Fest, between April 15 - 19.
Denise Bombardier says Rene gave her all access, white card. She says he never asked anything from her, he didn't ask to read the book before its published. "People think they control everything. No. All they want is the respect of others", she says.
"People will be surprised. I tried to analyze her relationships with others", she says.
She says the book has a chapter on Rene, a chapter on her family and a chapter on Rene-Charles (she's the first one to write about the kid - something official, that is).
Also, the name of the book is not set yet, apparently: they'll choose between "Le Mystere de Celine Dion" and "L'Enigmatique Celine Dion".
Denise says: "They both (Celine and Rene) are incredibly complex characters".

People who know her always say she's a very complex human being and very intelligent. Being down to Earth, doesn't mean she's easy to understand. Her public persona is one thing, but she's not only that in real life.

You're confusing terms here.... Difficult is not similar to complex.

You're confusing terms here.... Difficult is not similar to complex.

Ok...well difficult to understand, then? I guess I have just always admired her honesty and openness with the world, and I hope that wasn't an act.
I'm not sure how to say what I mean here LOL. Something about this woman just bugs me (not Celine, Denise.) It would suck if she tried to reveal negative aspects of Celine's personality...but it would also suck if Celine did those things.

I agree that Celine does seem complex...yet very down to earth.  She is such an intriguing lady with so many layers to her.  Celine has often said herself others know more about her than she does herself.  As we all know Celine is very emotional and deep; there must be so much we will never know about her! - and rightfully so.  
I'm so excited about this book and Denise's somewhat uncandid insight into Celine and the people around her!
Anything that reveals a little more about Celine's personality I find soooo interesting!!

"Le Mystère Céline Dion" looks and sounds so much better than "L'enigmatique Celine Dion."  I hope that is not the official title.  As for the cover, I wouldn't really mind if they used that photo.  I actually like it very much.

Yeah, or then from the D'elles shoot, like someone suggested. I think those photos would suit the book pretty well too!
