I was checking the prices for Madonna and Turner concerts with the agency I bought the Celine tickets from and they're cheaper. I guess it all depends which seats they secure in advance for Slovene audience. I see now that Madonna tickets for Germany cost about the same (1st category). The standing tickets are always cheaper but where do you stand is the question, behind everybody who's seating? Than that's not good enough for me even though I wanted to stand throughout the entire Celine concert. So, you're right about the prices.
Okay, you're not rich but is it fair for all these already rich singers to take such amounts of money from poor fans? For me, it would be more logical for the ticket prices to be cheaper when the artists are performing in a stadium, I mean, they can get so many people in there and make a lot of money either way. Maybe the Munich stadium wouldn't be more than half empty if the tickets were cheaper. You don't get to see much of her when you're in 2nd category seats or worse anyway because it's a huge place so why charge so much money to fans?
Now I make my peace with it and stop complaining about the prices, you'll all be happy to hear.

Ticketprices are being set by some certain rules... First it is the artist and management that say to a promotor what they desire... It's compared to what a promoter can offer. What is the minimum number of people that are requiered to perform for? What is the maximum number of people she will perform to on one night? What's the fee that needs to be paid for start? Where does she wants to stay, etc... The promotor must decide what the potential is for the event. How many people does he think will attend to the show? Is the promotor prefering a rather small place with higher prices or will he chose a larger place (for example a stadium) and lower rates? A costs / benefit sheet will be made in advance and as a result of this and negociations made with the management some shows will be booked and ticketprices are being set.
For example: The show in Antwerp did cost at least about 60 EUR for the worst places and 160 EUR for the best places. Antwerp seats about 13.500 people with seated ground instead of standing places. Arras however has a capacity of more than 25.000 people and will be and open air concert with no middle stage. Tickets are cheaper in Arras, only 66 EUR or 135 EUR for a few limited seats with lateral view on the stage. The setup in Antwerp is more expensive than the setup in Arras (no middle stage, PA & Video only near the stage, etc...) These are all things that will raise or lower the ticketprice...
Touring arround the world has become expensive also for the artists theirself. Needless to say that fuelprices are rising above the sky and economics aren't doing to well in the US or even in Europe... Neither will hotels become cheaper nor will other things be...
Ofcourse she is making a lot of money during the world tour but you must know that this all is very demanding for an artist so the discomfort during the tour is also calculated in the fees and ticketprices...
Dozens of factors are involved in setting the ticketsprices, even the "standards" of the particular country are included... Is she popular in that specific country or is it a show to (re)launch her? Are people earning a reasonable amount of money in that country? To many to explain...
And since she's a music legend standing at the top of the music branch with numerous of sold records she can ask (or even demand) a certain standard to the ticketprices...
For short. I really don't think that the shows are overpriced... If I remember correctly the tour back in 99 would have cost about 100 EUR for a decent seat in a Stadium with a sold out capacity of about 55.000. 9 years later the ticketprice for a decent seat (best category) would cost about 160 EUR in a more intimate place with a seating capacity of 13.500. During 9 years tickets (best category) were raised about 60%. However, you got a better place to see the concert (smaller place, closer to the artist, better sound) and she needs to perform 3 shows compared to 1 otherwise... I don't think it's to expensive... Some things have become way more expensive during those 9 years...
Anyway, that's what I think about the ticketprices...
