This will be Celine's first proper mainstream album since 2003 and look at the excitement and interest that is building surrounding it, not just by us the fans but by the media in general.
We haven't seen, or felt, anything like this since the months building up to the release of ANDHC. The next few months are going to be great.

Bringing you the world's only Celine Dion podcast show since 2014.

I'm so excited with this album...actually i think i'm even more excited than i was with "D'Elles", because i think this one will be even more different than everything she had one before.
And it will be such a great birthday gift for me

Hey, maybe since everyone was so well behaved and didn't take any bootlegs, TC can throw us a bone and post 30 seconds of Taking Chances. Wishful thinking maybe?
and it's already on perez website, they couldn't have asked for better publicity!

CELINE...TAKING CHANCES? with her gift(s), her team, her supportive fans, her worldwide acclaim and respect by people who actually KNOW music and talent (e.g., Prince, Randy Jackson, Alice Cooper, Larry King, Barbra Streisand, David Foster, and yah, obviously, this list could be expanded to NO end), not to mention her staggering success in Las Vegas, she has every reason to take a leap of faith and make some changes to her english-language repertoire which, although marketable and profitable, needed, i feel, a bit of updating...
CELINE, really, you are making us all very proud of you, and this new album could, for the first time, be somewhat equivocal to some of the quality records you've put out in your native French language...
i am so excited by the producers you've chosen to work with, the orchestrations and beats and guitars and all the sounds that will be featured on this new creation of yours, and i just feel like you're showing not YOUR true side (as we know she is all LOVE...All THe Way!), but rather, ANOTHER side of your being, so yah...
LV, thanks so much for filling us in on this new album; we, the fans, truly appreciate your time and dedication...
peace to all, especially CELINE!
- ANewDay...
P.S. : You're so the best!

That's the same song posted earlier from Christina's peformance at the grammys. However this version is much bettter than Christina's screamfest which did nothing for me but a beginning to a headache.
Still this song is a bit slow, and a bit boring, but very soulful, and it sounds as a song which Céline would choose to cover.

I've loved this song from the moment I first heard it, even from Christina.
With proper musical arrangement and vocal confidence, the performance of this song can be a masterpiece.
It has a bit of a theatrical / musical play sound to it, don't you think?

a little wiki
The song was originally recorded by Leon Russell and released on May 1970 on his self titled album.
Then was made popular by Donny Hathaway who released it on his self titled album on April 2, 1971
who is mentioned on Amy Winehouse's song "Rehab"
"I'd rather be at home with Ray
I ain't got seventy days
Coz there's nothing
There's nothing you can teach me
That I can't learn from Mr Hathaway"

It Will Never Go Away (with Ne-Yo)
Remember The Day (with R. Kelly)
What's up with this? Seems they may have a few tricks up their sleeve...can't wait for "official news" as to what is actually going to be on the freakin' album!
(And wasn't someone mentionning that they thought the album should be called Eyes on me, and now we hear of a track with this title? seems like we have a few "insiders" here!)

Rene and Celine will probably NEVER forget that comment!!
OMFG!
As for the album preview review, WOW is all I can say! It sounds like this is going to be a really amazing album! Plus, it's nice to know the title of the album is tentatively titled Taking Chances and not The Woman In Me.
Thank you so much, LV, for going to this amazing event. I'm sorry the crowd wasn't more into the moment. Their loss. They probably didn't realize how unique and how limited of an event this is. Hopefully someday they will and will then come to appreciate it.
November is NOT getting here fast enough darn it! LOL

We already knew that Delta contributed a song called Eyes On Me for a few weeks/months now. Thats why Mathias suggested it as an album title.
