Bonus tracks? they don't do that since All The Way!
In that case, maybe they release in 2008 a special edition with the tracks removed in the original version (something like what Sony has done with Beyonce's B'Day) but who knows
Can't they understand that a full rock album can be very risky? they should combine different styles, and that's what they said initially

And HOW is having an RNB album riskier if all that you hear from the radio is RNB garbage? Please. Really.

They said that, at first, they thought that Celine would change some of the arrangements of the track, but after listening, they got the positive vibe and say that the song is quite good, very great in fact.
Well, I believe that this is really great news to hear from Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox fans.
this is the mail
P.S.: She understood that the whole song and arrangement didn't need
ANY
changes. She might have sunk that ship with that song but THIS SONG,
even sung by Celine Dion is great!
> Last week I would have washed out my mouth myself if I would have
said
> that but - damn the prejudices and let that ship rest (rost?) in
peace
> on the ground with that other song -:
>
> Celine Dion is doing a GREAT version of the Platinum Weird track!
>
> Now it's gonna get the attention (and success hopefully) it deserves!

Ehem... ermm
On the other hand, the special edition included 2 bonus songs (CWS and ABOY), but who else in this world have released 2 new songs that you can only listen in a DVD player and not in the CD, next with the rest of the album songs?

You didn't understand me. I told that the daring thing is to release the whole new album with all the songs the same style of music, in this case ROCK. But an album that combines rock, RNB, pop, dance, ballad etc won't be that risky for Céline

Hmm I don't think you're getting it! JWA, YL and/or NW, BTM, SFL are bonus tracks. They are not on the 'normal' edition of the albums, meaning the US and Canadian versions. Europe and other parts used to have these 'bonus' tracks. ABOY and CWS is a different story, that was a limited edition version.
And ATW didn't have any bonus tracks! the tracklist was changed to songs that were hits in the part where ATW would be released.

It depends what you mean when you say "normal edition". European "normal editions" have all that songs included on the tracklist and it's not bonus track at the end. Superlove was 11th song on cd, Your light 14th etc. I never even knew that Your light wasn't included on American/Canadian version of Falling into you, I thought the whole world had same tracklist and it IS normal tracklist for Europe. I don't see why should American/Canadian releases be considered as basic editions that everyone else will follow.

And well I think that has to do with the fact that Céline is a canadian artist. so the canadian editions are the 'basic editions'! And if you look at TCOM after JWA it states 'bonus' track! And bonus track don't have to be the last song on a cd! Thank god, cos I can't imagine listening to Fly and after the end hearing HHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYY
but people like I explained it, that's just the way it is
oh and also look at the FIY and LTAL page on Celinedion.com... then you'll see what I mean!

That's right, but then lets difference between "basic editions" that each country gets, and "bonus track"
But if they don't include all the recorded songs in the original version, available for everyone, then I hope that they release in 2008 a special edition with bonus tracks, then the unreleased or "bonus tracks" deleted from the basic edition.
I mean I don't like the strategy of adding or removing songs depending of each region, that's not fair for the fans because obviously we will want all the tracks available in the same version, isn't it?

Two articles about Delta writing Eyes On Me http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/music/
I found an interview about Jovan Haye, a football player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is proud to be a Céline fan.
Okay, what's this about you and Celine Dion?
J.H. : "I love Celine Dion. I have every album she's ever made. I think that goes back to my junior year in high school. My mother used to listen to her, and I just always thought she had one of those unmistakable voices. It's up there with Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, people like that.
Celine Dion? Really?
Yeah. And I have a funny story. I was riding down Dale Mabry Highway to a game one day, and I stopped at a light. I had the windows down with Celine Dion turned up loud. There were about six guys in the truck next to me who just looked at me like I was crazy. I saw one of them tap another guy and point at me like, "What?" And I was driving my big Denali truck. I guess they thought I should be playing some rap or something. I love the looks people give me.
