^ Wow i hope you feel better :confused: i hate coming off of a flu or cold, it feels like i'm weak!

Yesterday i played in summer league for volleyball, they had more than 10 full teams there, 2 gyms, 4 courts, NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was horrible! And when i wear that particular sports bra, i get the shape of a smiley face AND a heart on my back, in sweat! It was so gross! :sweat:

During the school year I dance Monday-Friday for at least 2 hours per day. I love dance! And during the summer I take a few dance camps but they only last a week. So, recently to keep my flexibility I've been stretching almost everyday. I also do crunches after I stretch!

Starting to get a little nervous, my half marathon is coming in two weeks... On Saturday on the 2nd of July!! :w00t: And I'm just a little bit worried cause lately I haven't been able to practice as much as I should've, as I've been sick and stuff... The longest way I've run is about 11 km, and it worries me a little that in two weeks I should run double the distance...  :o :lol:
I was counting that I could still go running about 5 to 6 times before the race.. yikes!!!

I'm also wondering whether I should make a quick appointment to the doctor's, before I attend the race, just to check out and be sure that everything is basically ok with my health. I know it's just a half marathon, and I'm probably making a bigger deal out of it than it is, but it would just be to get my mind at ease... Cause I tend to worry so much about everything that could be wrong! :P

I did my workout today, and I think I worked myself too hard, because now I have a headache...  :wacko:

I also like sports-- baseball, soccer, basketball, roller hockey..etc.
I wish we were like Europe and could walk to places we want to go to.  Us Americans rely on driving so much that its one reason why we have such a high obesity rate...but also because of all the chemicals in our foods!!

I run for 30 minutes a day and then do step on the Wii Fit.  I've also restricted calories so I'll get more effective results.

:scared: :w00t: Oh god, the half marathon is TOMORROW!!!! And I am neeeeeervous!!! There's supposed to be +28 degrees (Celsius) and the weather is very humid so it feels like a tropic here right now, and the race starts at 13.20, so the worst time of the day (the hottest I mean).... So I'm a little (a lot!) worried.. But, I guess it's like everyone keeps saying, that I just have to remember to drink often and enough, and just take it really slow...
But still I'm nervous and worried! But I try to keep in mind that I can always start walking and even quit the race if I start to feel sick or something.... Ahh, exciting!!!  :whee:

It's done, I did it!!!!  :clap:  :clap: And it was SO awesome, I'm so happy!!!
It was super hot, about +30 degrees at some point, but I ran very slowly and drank a lot and poured water on my head and neck many times. So I didn't start to feel bad at any point. :) My time was 2 h 34 min, but my only goal was to cross the finish line, so I can't be anything but happy and very satisfied with that!! :) When I crossed the finish line, I almost had tears in my eyes right afterwards, the feeling was just so awesome.. wow! :) And I'm definitely going again another time!!

I walk for about 1-2 hours every day... you like power walking, since I can't run very long because of my knee. And then like every other day i rollerskate like 20-40 km... in vacations on rainy day I go swimming and Swim like 1.5 km or so... :)

Feeling sore is bittersweet, because it's bothersome to move, but it reminds your that your muscles are growing :flex:

I think it wouldn't be too much to ask for the gym to have air conditioning and COLD water...  -_-

Yeah! It's a wonderful feeling after all!! ;)

Ouch, I was on BodyPump class today and my upper back/shoulder area is so "stuck", that a few times I almost felt a little dizzy/sick during some moves.. :/ Not much, but a little. But I know it's because of my shoulders, and I guess some nerves in my upper back are a bit jammed too, which makes my right hand sometimes feel a little numb, or more like makes it "tingle".. I've had it before too, not for a while though. But I hope it'll get better after a few days of extra shoulder training, you know to make them move and get the blood flow there. ;)
Of course it would probably be a good idea to also have a little break from sitting on the computer....  :whistling:

^ Yeah, maybe I should. And then do some shoulder exercises with very light weights, to get the shoulders move, that's what's most helpful I think. ;) And tomorrow I think I'll go to Zumba, it does good cause you can shake your whole upper body like crazy there!  :laugh:
