New English Album?

Actually, I don't care who will work with her on the new english cd, because she will do something good, no matter with who she works. she is able to choose good songs, and everything new from her is cool, so I don't care that much actually.

I only hope it will be in the first months of 2006, i especially like when she releases an album in spring, because it has more touch.. i dunno why...

Do you think Sony BMG will provide sufficient budget to make a great album for Céline. Because if they don't, there is no chance on earth we will get anything near the type of album you expect. And Sony BMG have been so stingy lately. The latest albums were quite mediocre, because they were given a low budget. And if the budget for the new album is as low, we will get yet another mediocre album.

 

I'm grateful for Céline's latest albums. But there's so much more she could do with more budget.

Yea I know what your saying but I don't really care what non-fans think to be honest! Don't you think most fans would rather have more ballads than up tempo?

Most of my non - Celine fan friends thought it was hilarious when she did a few dancey songs they couldn't see why she was even bothering, so I don't think it would make too much difference to her if she were to do loads more ballads for us true fans.

Don't get me wrong I do like the dancey ones, and I know Celine loves doing them too!

This sounds great if its true. When you think about it, the last "true" english album was One Heart...Of coure there was Live In Las Vegas, but you can't count live recordings as

"new" recordings...and then there was Miracle, but that was more of a "project" rather than a true Celine album...no one expected that to be a huge seller and place on the charts, it was simply a collabration with Anne Geddes. So ya, the last real english album was One Heart in 2003.

 

I have this vision of the new english album as being the best album of Celine's english career. I dont know why...but it seems like theyll make this an exceptional record that will get Celine back on the charts and the radio. I hope this is true....

I don't think it's about gaining new fans, Koolan. Not at al, we're not in 1992 any more, she needs to broaden the perspective. Very much to broaden it, but then again she will do it after Vegas so one or two POP albums to go, guys!

rock album would be a different perspective for sure and think that she would sing absolutely astonishing but why duets with other grous?Also a combination of the two albums you re mentioning would give great songs and big hits...but what about new standards and new territories to be conquered?we need in my opinion to see something else...different musical elemenmts combined,new style and fantastic vocals!!!!!!!

If Sony would be willing to pump the money they put into her they way they do for other acts like Jessica Simpson or Beyonce, Celine would have no problem scoring top 10 hits again, which is what I want to see from her.

To be honest, I couldn't care less if Céline will score another top 10 hit or not. As long as she makes an album that has good songs on it, I'm happy as can be...

 

This is indeed no longer about building a fanbase like back in 1992, she has the fanbase (Tzadzaaaa here we are!! ) so what she needs to do is keep US happy eh..?

so i thought why not opening a new topic about celine's next english record?

i hope there is no topic about it and from what i saw there isnt .

we all heard celine saying that there WILL be a new english record next year(2006) we also heard some rumors regarding the release date(march , november) . some people even suggested that "i believe in you" was recorded in english in order for it to be the first single from the new album .

 

now , nothing is official ofcours but it seems like celine is working on 2 new albums since we already know there is going to be a new french record next year - celine said she is working on 2 new albums , 1 french record and 1 english record .

we also know celine recorded recently 5 new songs with david foster(holiday songs)
