im probanbly the only one that gonna say i hope she does not release a new album this year. Considering how one heart and miracle were poorly recieved and have not really sold as well as they should considering its celine. I think after the vegas sgow ends, let her rest a while, then come back in full force with new album, and more time to promote the album. But then thats unlikely to happen considering her wanting to spend as much time as she can with rene and rene-charles. Also didnt celine say she wanted another child after the show????, so maybe another long break?????

Her last album dated 2003 one heart.. Most people don't know 1f4t or miracle because of the really bad promotion...

Yes, but if she rushes and sings through another album with the lack lustre voice on 'Miracle' or the nasal sound of 'LILV', they'll have the impression her VOICE is dead. She should wait until her voice is up to it and give the fans and public something true to what she's capable of, after a good rest.

I have had so many people ask me when is she going to release another album or a new single again. Most people think that she has not had a new song since ANDHC or even some people since TTWII. Everytime I talk about going to Vegas a lot of people ask me what does she sing because they didn't realize she has any new songs. Also a lot of people don't even realize that she is in Vegas full time. I have had a lot of people ask me what is she doing now.

 

Miracle was not really promoted nor was it meant to be a hit album. Neither was One Heart. We cannot compare these two to any of her other releases. I'm sure if Celine releases another English Album later this year she will promote it as she always does....so the question is will Sony promote the album?

i don't think there'll be anything new from Celine until LV ends! Keep the anticipation in the air so when it does come out everyone will go and buy it asap!

People already think that she has not had a new single since ANDHC and some even think she hasn't had anything new since 1999. I think the longer she waits the less people are going to be interested. I agree. And she can well promote an album, recording a special from the Colosseum, that could be sent to worldwide TV stations. The rest should be done by the local Sony BMG dept.

It would be nice if she recorded a new CD of new songs, English or French in my opinion. Although I'm not sure when she would have time to record it in the upcoming year and a half since she still has to do her LV show until that time. I guess she may be able to do some of it on her breaks, although I'm sure she rather just spend time with her family or on vacation rather than working at that time. I'm sure at some point she will record another new album, not just greatest hits, but we will probably have to wait awhile.

 

The average person only knows Celine from the Titanic theme song and her other well known hits of the past, so I'm not suprised that some people on this thread have mentioned that some people they know did not know Celine was in Vegas for the last few years. Since we're fans of course we followe everything that's going on in her life and career. Most people are just concerned with what's on TV tonight and whether or not to have fries or onion rings with their happy meal. Uh oh!!?? Am I in that category?!

We would have known by now if there were a CD to be out this fall. We usually know 4-5 months in advance about a future Céline release.
