sorry guys it was jiust my fun makin' it! i don't want a new greatest hits now too, but i think sony will release something like that when their celine 'moneymachine' dion isn't releasing a new one soon.

 

i hope it doesn't happen, we'll see!

RUMOR! And it's so fake... but I think sony has no scruples to take this or maybe a pic from 1989 for the front of the new album!

David Foster definely on the powerballads and Walter Afanasieff they make such incredible ballads and Ric Wake, Peer Astrom on the pop hits. So my chose of Celine Production on her 2006 october album should be like this:

 

David Foster. Ballads.

Walter Afanasieff. Ballads.

Ric Wake&Peer Astrom. Pop.

Louis Biancaniello&Sam Watters. Pop-Ballads.

Terry Lewis&Jimmy Jam. RN,B-Ballads.

Scott Storsh. RN,B, Rodney Darkchild Jerkins. RN,B.

Jean J Goldman rock-ballads.

And Maybe someone like Elton John, Stevie Wonder.

 

The album is hopefully gonna be something like this she has said herself that she wants to make RN,B and this is the right timing to do so.

I hoped the new album will comming out and will corresponding with her performance on the official football-championship-sampler. But NOTHING...

 

Now I am thinking, the first English album doesn't comming out before finishing Las Vegas (maybe christmas market 2007 or so...).

Maybe these days she is so present with many small projects (duets etc.) because she knows she has to push her show for the last year in L.V. with the publicity in context with small things; and she saves up the album until next year when she has the time for hardcore-promoting worldwide her new Englisch album.

I hope until this next English album she makes a bridge with a French album in 2006 (maybe I'm wrong but I think there were some rumors...!?).

I don't think a "Best Of" album would be a bad idea. If it was put together correctly (ex. including Where Does My Heart Beat Now, Misled, etc.) and made into a 2 disc set it would finally make up for ATW. I'm sorry to say, but that is one of the most pathetic "greatest hits" albums that has been released by any artist, in my opinion. Too many big hits were left off just to make way for new material, which could have been left for a completely new album. They could have just as easily left the new tracks and made a new album that would have included "Would I Know," "Run Like A River," etc. Also, there should be a couple Christmas songs on her next greatest hits album. "Don't Save It All For Christmas Day" and "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" are some of the most played holiday songs on the radio. There have been many hits by Celine recently; I Drove All Night, You And I, Beautiful Boy, In Some Small Way, Have You Ever Been In Love, etc. I would very happy with another greatest hits album if it were to mean that "Would I Know," "Run Like A River," and the duet with Shania, "Back In Time," were to be included. That's just my two cents.

Maybe you're right Renato, but we don't know what "forthcoming" means for René ! It could be a year, 2, 3 ? And I can't wait any more !
