There ill be no album this year - I don't know why some of you are so keen on it. Once she gets it all together - and it seems she wants to wait - just let her. She will come back with a nice little CALM, subdued English jazz album.

Non, monSIUR! Pas du tout! Tool, Whitney Houston, Sade, Anastacia, Josh Groban - these are only FEW artists who always need their time to finish up the record. Their fans wait 2-8 YEARS for a new CD and learn to appreciate every single CD of theirs. I wish Céline had such an attitude. At least it seems now she come to raison.

 

On the other hand, Rene, I do understand you...Céline has been spoiling her fans ever since 1981 putting 1-2 albums every year so now it's natural for the fans to get a lil agitated.

I agree, for example, The Corrs also spent 4 years! (Since In Blue until Borrowed Heaven)

 

We have to change our mind!! Céline always published even two cds in one year, now, she may need more time to make a new GREAT album like FIY (I wish) or LTAL , and if she really wants to make another FIY cd, I'll wait one or two years for it

I just think it's probably a lot right now for celine to be recording a new album. Everytime she records a english album she has to do one in french as well for her french fans, so between all that plus the shows in vegas, plus raising a little boy its probably crazy & if she is recording a new album its probably gonna take a little while. And when she releases it I'm sure they are going to have to do promotions travling around the country doing talk shows & eveything to promote it. So I'm sure they are trying to figure what time she is actually going to have to do all that

I really hope that the album, whenever it will come out, will be filled with 100% new songs, no duos with crappy "popera" schmocks, no lousy English/French soundtracks for cartoon movies. At best, jazz ballads, blues songs. Yes, people are ungrateful, and forget that all the releases since ANDHC are only for the fans. Did she work on OH, 1F&4T, AND: LILV, Miracle and ONCP to sell albums and earn money? The fact there was no promotion and the albums "flopped" proves she didn't. If she was all about money, she wouldn't bother - her perfumes made more than her recent albums all together. Céline doesn't need to record albums anymore. She does it only for us, her loyal fans.

She will need only about one and a half week for the jazz songs in English but then it will be her most spontaneous and BEST work to date in English.

i tihnk it will be oct sih 2006, along with the new perfum. the othe new parfums were like "what?" juts a flash in the dark, and they know it that is why momento became a teamceline exclusive. celine never ever goes a year without a new album again excpet 2001 becasue of her break. sad to say, even if she doesnt put her best foot forward into a new album, i think we will get one.
