Oh God, not David Foster again, anyone but him. I like her old songs too but I don't want the same stuff over and over again. Mutt Lange on the other hand OMG, that would be too good. I LOOOOOOOOOVE If walls could talk and Goddbye's (The saddest word). And duet with Shania would be amazing.

You seem to be very supportive about him. Did you know he was in a quite popular rock band a couple of years ago, which won some contests in the local county... Maybe he'll fix some nice rocky feeling to Céline, more of the material we've heard on Naked!

thats great, I can't wait for a new english album. I wonder how it will be like and I wonder what kinds of songs she will sing. 2006 seems like it's such a long ways away, oh well in reality it's only 4 months away. I' looking forward to her new english album.

Well don't get too exited coz it's painful to wait for someting that is a long way ahead(learned from the AND DVD) - IF they release an English album 2005 it will be in March or October.

I'm really looking forward to seeing a new Celine album, and I hope Sony actually PROMOTES the album this time. The reason why the last 2 albums weren't as big as they could've been was because of lack of promo on Sony's part (and they were also complete idiots for not releasing I Surrender.) We've seen the (undeserved) seuccess Mariah has had recently, and this would be a good time for Celine to get back on the airwaves. She needs the exact right song to do that and I hope she can do it without resorting to rappers.

Wow! A new English Album from Celine is AMAZING news!

 

But please, don't give us another One Heart... That is my least favorite Celine Album. EVER. Ok, there are some good tracks on it, but as a whole piece of work it really is a let down for me.

 

I drove all night is a good track, so some 'Peer' on the next album would be nice. But to balance him out, i think we need to have some David Foster. A touch of Classic Celine. Also, Robert 'mutt' Lange should definately be included in this project - what a fabulous writter / producer!

 

Lets hope Celine just takes her time with this new album. DONT RUSH IT!

I agree with the last post. I thought "One Heart" was a disappointing album. There are so few good songs on it and it seems like they were trying to create a different sound, which could be good, but it did not work. I liked most of her earlier album, "A New day.." I really liked her French album "1 Fille and 4 types". I thought that sounded good because it had a different sound but of course it's marketed more for a french audience. Unfortunately with the North american market they always want to stay safe with songs and attempt hits, which NO ONE

can really calculate no matter how hard they try.

 

I would think Celine would work really well with Mutt Lange. From what I've read about him he is a perfectionist in the studio and it's not uncommon for him to have the artist repeat their solo or voice multiple times to the point of some groups being really angry about it. Celine is also a perfectionist and would have no problem with this. The only problem with that guy as a producer is he's almost TOO perfect on his recordings, nothing is spontaneous.

 

I'll be happy with anyone producing as long as the songs are good!

I think we are getting a little greedy now. I mean we still have the GH album, the bio, French DVD, the Luther tribute, the ANDLILV DVD, and we've had so many tv appearances this year...

I would rather Celine wait to release another Engligh album till 2007 that way she could really work on it and give us an amazing "going away" gift.

Mutt Lange, IWCT was so extremely good, he let me down with GTSW, so I guess I'm back to square one with this one.

how about Dido? - her sound is always frech and new, yet poppy. Céline's voice would do super on music like that.

 

And BTW, quit being so ungreatful for OH, Céline gave that album for the fans. Just for the fans. So yea, not completely my cup of tea either, but I don't diss a gift.

Yes, people are ungrateful, and forget that all the releases since ANDHC are only for the fans. Did she work on OH, 1F&4T, AND: LILV, Miracle and ONCP to sell albums and earn money? The fact there was no promotion and the albums "flopped" proves she didn't. If she was all about money, she wouldn't bother - her perfumes made more than her recent albums all together. Céline doesn't need to record albums anymore. She does it only for us, her loyal fans.

Yea they were for the fans, but I somehow get the feeling Miracle was more for Céline herslef, a selfstatement, a dream project, and I don't blame her for that. I rarely listen to this album, but I respect it as HERS. The songs are quite good quality, some extremely high, but they don't appeal to me too much... And I don't feel bad about that. It's a good album, but not for me.

I know OH was a 'Gift', but to me it seemed more like Celine ran out to the local Garage and grabbed a box of Chocolate Matchsticks rather than spend some time searching for just the right gift.

 

And im not ungreatful, ANY album is nice, just to hear Celine Singing is fabby...but i do expect a certain standard to be maintained.

 

So no more chocolate matchsticks please celine, they are nice, stall the hunger pangs, but really leave you hungrier than ever.

I love the album OH, and I love the songs on OH too. The style is a bit different on OH than on her other albums and I like that. As for the Miracle album I like this one too but I only listen to it when I'm in the mood to listen ot something nice and soft. As for her album ANDHC I like this album too, I like her album OH better than this one but this one is still a geast album. I love all of her albums and I don't think that she has a bad album. I'm happy that she's coming out with a new english album (as I said before) and I'm happy with whatever style of music the album is whether it be like FIY, OH, or Miracle.
