Et cela, malgré la présence de Céline Dion en direct de Las Vegas. Les trois candidats qui étaient mis en danger hier ont opté pour des pièces peu connues du grand public. D'abord, Kaven Haché avec Embarque ma belle de Kain, meilleure performance qui lui a valu d'être le choix du public. Marc-André Fortin a ensuite interprété Que les étoiles, de Claude Dubois. Il a été sauvé par le jury, qui a peut-être considéré son excellente performance depuis le début de la saison. Steve suivait avec une chanson popularisée par la Bottine souriante, Martin de la chasse galerie. Le gala d'hier sentait la nostalgie avec le retour de Marie Carmen. Après un pot-pourri de ses grands succès, on aurait pu laisser faire L'Aigle noir en duo. Autre retour, André-Philippe Gagnon qui a permis aux jeunes de chanter du Coldplay, du REM et du U2. Un numéro qui a mis en valeur les filles, Annie et Stéphanie particulièrement. Et bien sûr, grand moment très attendu, Céline Dion a chanté Je ne vous oublie pas avec un choeur d'académiciens. Les jeunes ont ensuite posé des questions à Céline, comme ils l'avaient abondamment fait la semaine dernière lors de leur passage dans le désert de Vegas. Ajoutez à cela l'émission spéciale qui suivait, avec René Angelil, ça faisait pas mal. Hier, on aurait voulu un invité de plus qui aurait fait lever le spectacle. Also I get extremely irritated at some posters (especially at certain comments in the French section of the whoriahcommunity.com) that think Céline isn't capable of pulling off All By Myself live ever again. I mean WTF!? Where have they been when she sang the song with almost NO voice on certain concerts back in the 90's and where are they when she sings I Surrender live in Vegas each damn night?
