"Lors des auditions, les juges ont rencontré plus de 5000 jeunes qui rêvaient de vivre cette belle aventure qui a déjà permis à 11 artistes, dont Marie-Élaine Thibert, Wilfred LeBouthillier et Stéphanie Lapointe, d'enregistrer un premier album", a indiqué Mme Snyder qui est très fébrile à l'idée de reprendre l'animation des méga-galas diffusés à tous les dimanches. "Être choisi pour Star Académie, ce n'est pas comme de gagner au casino, c'est de gagner LE casino", explique le nouveau directeur, Denis Bouchard, qui s'est entouré d'une solide équipe pour assurer la formation de ses futurs protégés. À Geneviève Dorion-Coupal (danse), Denise Filiatrault (interprétation), Bruny Surin (éducation physique) et Linda Malho (chant), s'ajoutent Dan Bigras (création artistique), Josée Lavigueur (conditionnement physique), Joël Legendre (expression orale) et Denise Bombardier (débats de l'Académie) pour former le collège des professeurs. Cette année encore Jean Lamoureux, qui réalise les galas du dimanche, promet de se dépasser pour en mettre plein la vue aux plus de 2 millions de téléspectateurs qui sont fidèles à ce rendez-vous hebdomadaire. According to the Quebec Star Académie website (in French only), Celine will sing live from Las Vegas on Sunday, October 2 for the Quebec edition of this very popular show! Star Académie airs on TVA network from Monday to Thursday at 7.30 p.m. (ET) and on Sundays at 7.30 p.m. Hopefully someone can catch this! Quote

The whole "Academy" is moving to Las Vegas. It won't be a vacation even if the 11 "Academicians" will stay at Caesars Palace Hotel. They will keep on doing the same things that usually did in Quebec. The will also attend one of this week's Céline shows "A New Day..." and in spite of her commitments, Céline will also take part in the "Academy" works. She will rehearse with the group of "Academicians" one of the songs of her upcoming Greatest Hits in French "On Ne Change Pas". Céline will sing LIVE from Las Vegas during this Sunday's broadcasting (all the Academicians will be in Montreal).
