My parents also from the same faith are atually very fine with it. I don't know there are many religions that say it is fine. Quote

And me and my husband both work at the same school. And all the children and parents know that we're gay and there is no problem. And about the church: I was offered to do some work at the church (reading the bible for the children). I had a long talk with the priest if everybody would be okay about it, as I am gay. He told me (and later I did some research myself by reading a lot about this subject) that there's NOWHERE in the bible that God is against gays. Okay, in fact there is ONE sentence about it. But that's on the same page that says:- we have to kill people who cheat on their husband/wife- we can only eat meat, if the animal was slaugtered that very same day- we can only wear clothes made out of ONE material onlyetc. I wonder if there's anyone out there who stays true to ALL those points! Furthermore, there are stories left out of the bible which indicate that Jesus himself probably was gay. In fact, there are still indications in the bible today, that Jesus was gay. So I don't really understand what's all the fuss about. And Reynolds, yes, Céline Dion is a major gay icon. Just as Cher is.
