My family are pretty good though - they were basically just worried about me mostly, that i wouldn't be able to have and do things most people could. but they know i'll do whatever i want to do.. I was raised in a conservative home, but I was never taught to hate someone who is different. I have no problem with gay ppl and of course there are some I can't stand, but not because they are gay, but because they are friggen drama queens lol. But just with any gay or straight person, there are always gonna be ppl u don't get along with. As far as what I believe about the gay issue, it's not important to you because it's what I believe and it's not what you believe. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don't look at my friends and think "Oh Diana's lesbian so I can't mention this or that in front of her" Actually I always forget that she is lesbian until she starts telling me about her fantasies with other woman lmao. Which I then politley say "Diana, c'mon now, you know I don't wanna here that lmao" and we just laugh about it. ok...I might have one problem with gay guys though... Sometimes I tend to like them with out knowing they are gay...and when I find out, then I wish they were straight so I could date them I totally agree with this answer...I have MANY friends from ALL different walks of life...black, gay, straight, atheist, catholic, holy rollers, mixed, indian, mexican, and a REALLY good friend from Equador...and I love everyone!! I was raised in a very conservative home as well, and raised to think certain things were wrong...but NEVER judge ANYONE! We are all human, and nothing I do is better than ANYONE else in the world. Please don't take it personally as i have nothing bad to say about gays as people. Gay sexual relations do freak me out a little bit once i get thinking about it...i have never met a gay person until i was um, 17 and on my first trip to the US (San Francisco). i knew gays existed but i have never seen such a bold expression of homosexuality before. attending a Gay Pride 2001 was quite an experience.
