Thanks for clarification. It is very difficult indeed to read all small letters and GTA when you have only some minutes to proceed with your ticket purchase including the card info and so on 😈

I made it through the TravelEvent queue but couldn’t buy the ticket I wanted. From what I saw, you could choose date / tickets category / hotels that were still available. I don’t remember the names of the hotels though. They seemed to be pretty decent places.

I read somewhere that hotel booking in Paris had increased by 900% for the the duration of Céline’s residency 😅

Oh, so there were options to choose the hotels but not the seat at the show, good to know. Were there option for different hotel categories in terms of stars? I am curious, because you might be right, as I checked for the hotels this week, to book my stay, and despite there are about 6 months ahead, the prices are rather high already, especially, if you chose the option with the cancellation possibility.

There were very short descriptions of the hotels as I remember but I don’t know if there were great variations in terms of stars. I don’t think so because prices were quite homogenous. The distance from the venue is a parameter too. Hotels near the Arena were already quite expensive when I checked last weekend. I don’t know if the prices had already gone up or if it’s their regular prices.

Apparently there’s been confirmation of some band members for the show:

- Kaven Girouard (guitar)

- Yves Labonté (bass)

- Guillaume Marchand (keyboard)

- Philippe Dunnigan (violin)

And it can be safely assumed that Scott will also be back as band leader.

I always had a weak spot for Dominique Messier, the drummer. Really liked how he added all these accents on musical cues. And he has been part of her band for so long… But I also wonder how the songs will sound if somebody else sits behind the kit.

Maybe its me that I expected a full on promotion train these weeks, but somehow it's awkwardly silent. On the other hand it's obviously not needed to sell out her shows.

But I would have expected at least 1 new interview whether on paper or on tv. Maybe even with her manager like Rene always did.

Maybe it's a new way how artists work these days I don't know. I would love to get another 'what's in my bag video' instead of this silence.

This team always does the bare minimum. If the shows ticket sales were bad, they’d do an interview.. they do absolutely nothing unless there’s a reason for them. Only time we had an interview from Celine was to push her new documentary at the time.

Then if she can’t spare an hour to sit down with an interviewer, they should let the cameras in and show us a glimpse of what’s going on behind the scenes. And at the end, perhaps after the residency is over, release all the footage as a documentary together with a professionally recorded version of the concert. Doesn’t take some management genius, just the will to do it.

I have to say this doesn’t entirely feel like a comeback…. We haven’t even seen her other than in a short video.  The new single is lovely (I really like it), but again no sign of her, not even in the music video.  
 

Would really like to see her and hear how things are for her currently.  Why has everything become so exclusive?

I imagine they are waiting for her real "come-back" to be the moment she hits the stage in September.   I have a feeling it'll be radio-silence until then except for the forthcoming 2 singles (if that plan doesn't change)

That’s exactly what I envisioned. It would be great !

I also hope she’ll give a long interview when in France in September. I’d prefer it to be on public TV rather than TF1 or M6 (even though they seem to have a contract) as the latter are clearly not up to the task. Anne-Claire Coudray embarrassed me in spring 2024 ! We need someone with the charisma and subtlety of Adrienne Arsenault to talk about the way Céline now sees her life and career, maybe a philosophical look back on her life and everything that happened during the last decade, how if may have changed her perspective (or not), if she would do do some things differently (or not)… The problem is that Céline has always seemed intimidated by French medias (except with Drucker or Aliagas). She’s very in control of her every move and word. She even erases her accent from Quebec, which is a pity !

Why did Anne-Claire Coudray embarrass you ? I don't think she was that bad. I agree that she doesn't seem like herself with French journalists, maybe because most are Parisians and a bit snobbish and they like to mock the Quebec accent.

You’re right about the snobery of part of the French media, but those who still behave like that make themselves ridiculous nowadays. As for Coudray, I’d have to watch the interview again but I thought that offering a keyring with an Eiffel tower was stupid. I mean, if you want to make a present, even something symbolic, try to find something more delicate or fancy. It doesn’t have to be expansive but this was « cheap » because it lacked so much imagination and sensitivity.

Hello! I managed to get the tickets. However I cannot access my AXS account. They flag me constantly as a bot. 2 days of access, and then again - my account gets blocked. I contacted the support, they say just wait for 24 hours.  I am tired of this and am truly affraid that my account is going to be blocked on the day of the concert and I won't be able to access the venue. It is like I am in some kind of a loop and only if I'm lucky I won't be recognized as a bot on the day of the concert by this stupid AXS system. Anyone had similar experience? Please help.

Can't you just screenshot your ticket? I always do in case of bad wifi/network and use the screenshot to enter.

Hi everyone. I've put together a pretty realistic setlist, in my opinion. I'm obviously expecting everyone to say it's more of the same, but I honestly think she'll sing more or less these songs, and maybe a few surprises—but mainly I think these are the most important songs of her career, and it'll probably be something like this. I think you already know that but, just in case… Don’t use a VPN when you connect to the platform. I’m really sorry you have this bad experience.

Tried everything. Nothing helps. I've written to the support again, this time with obvious frustration, we will see. I have read on the internet that many people had a similar experience during the purchase however I think mine is among the worst because I managed tu buy the tickets and now they are blocking me. After paying such a huge amount of money for the tickets I cannot even access my account from time to time.

What can I expect now, that I am legally going to be declared as a bot?! Such a discriminatory practice, AXS should feel ashamed.
