For what it's worth, I asked Gemini about a possible concert in Montreal and it said that Evenko never uses the lottery system and that the market there is less dense and more stable so it's going to be easier to get tickets. Let's hope...

Let's not forget either that tickets are going to be sold at face value at some point so not all is lost for those of us who weren't lucky. I really hope we all manage to find a way to be there eventually.

On a positive note, Celine and her team have clearly noticed the huge demand. This only means more tours and residencies in the future, if her health allows her!

And if the upcoming album becomes a success, which I think it will, she might return to France next summer, maybe to do shows in Stade de France. 😎

I don't think she'll go back to France next summer, she'll probably go to Montreal otherwise people are going to be angry. I don't think she'll ever do Stade the France again either because of her condition, they said she was looking for covered venues specifically.

I usually go for that for most concerts, but for Céline I just want to be as close to her as possible, especially on that night. I'm sure the show will be a spectacular production but on that night it will be all about the connection with Céline for me

Is there any way all the fans on here attending on opening night could collectively do something at the same time to catch attention, for her and cameras etc. How strict are the rules of what is allowed in. Take some leafy branches and shake them like cheer leader pom poms. Apple tree branches 😄

Céline tends to prefer indoor venues in general, regardless of demand or her personal condition. I suppose it allows for a better show, and better conditions for fans.

In France, le Stade de France is the worst place I've seen concerts. The acoustics are awful and the artist is the size of a pin on the stage.  The cool part is all the fans together and being under the night sky - but it is not ideal.

True, but the scale of it all would make him so happy and proud, and the fact that this is happening so far into her career--he was the one who envisioned Céline singing on the biggest stages even when she's 100, Céline herself thought she'd retire when she's 40/50/60 and certainly not be doing such huge productions anymore. So, while it could be argued that he took away Céline's exploration of her artistry, I think we owe him big time for instilling the BIG mindset in Céline, and her determination to keep going forever.

I agree. And at the same time, I can't help thinking Luprano may be right when he says René tried to end her career with his death by having important and very close staff members removed. Actually, no one ever really understood this move. But you're totally right about the mindset. As for determination, I think it runs in the Dion - Tanguay family.

But, here's another fan who didn't get chosen for the presale and who wasn't successful today either. 😭 After 9 hours of refreshing different sites I think I'm gonna have to give up. 😭
