Viagogo is genuine, but it’s a reseller site and has a bad rep for scams

Thanks. So I may end up losing all that money if I proceed with buying? I just don't have experience in buying tickets.

Claudette said the family was preparing to see her in Paris so I hope it's because they want to be there for her comeback, and not because their baby isn't planning a residency in QC. 🤞

I think so too and I think Paris is a test so she probably won't announce Montréal until the residency is over.

I know, I know… the more I thought about it, I couldn’t miss out on the end incase worse case scenario after this run of shows she and her doctors agreed that it wasn’t good for her or her condition… there is always that chance, I know it’s worst case scenario but there’s always that chance and if kick myself if I didn’t go, bring so close to London. 😊

I guess the struggle many here had/have is due the websites weren't ready to handle that amount of people but that is clearly their fault and should've been foreseen by them. Its freaking Céline Dion which tickets they sell!

Don’t say that! I need something to look forward to in the short term… not the long. 😭 I do fear that you are right though… I’m hoping that if there are plans to do Montreal that they are announced sooner rather than later, but I can also see them waiting to see how she does doing the 16 shows and then going forward with Montreal. Time will tell.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't the same pool of tickets. Usually 3rd party vendors for hotel packages, like Event Travel, receive ahead of time a pre-determined portion of tickets that are not put on sale elsewhere, just specially blocked for them to sell. They get like 1% of tickets to sell.

Wow- this has been just wild. A whirlwind of excitement - and dispair - all depending on luck and whether or not people jumped at the right point.  Yesterday I was somwhat regretting going witht he Event Travel packege, but that feeling is totally gone seeing how it was impossible to get a ticket today.
