Has anyone bought a ticket from StubHub from the US? And has anyone had their tickets released to them?

Mine still haven't been released

For the ones who bought tickets through Fnac, or Ticketmaster, do you already have your tickets? How does it look because there are so many AI tickets on IG. Thanks

No, not yet. They will be sent a few days before the shows. I think there were only etickets.

I just received a "second chance" email for the Paris shows from Défense Arena, so there's still hope for anyone looking for a ticket...

Who has an account? This article is for subscribers only. The journalist discusses Céline's upcoming shows.

This was it about Celine, the rest was a lot of talk about the changing industry and residencies.

Celine Dion is coming back in September thanks to you. When did you start talking to her?

Since 2018, when she signed with us. Her concerts never took place due to the health crisis, but she always wanted to come back to honor that commitment. The initial bookings for the September and October residency were made eighteen months ago.

Why did she choose Paris?

Because there's a love affair between Céline and France. She's an international artist, but first and foremost a French-speaking one, who achieved her greatest successes in the French market. I also think that the infrastructure of La Défense Arena, the only indoor venue of its size in Europe, was perfect for attracting the largest possible audience.

Do you know what the proportion of French and foreign nationals will be?

60% of the audience comes from France, Belgium, and Switzerland. And the remaining 40% from all over the world. That's huge.

Are you communicating with her right now?

Not directly, but with his teams, who are in the middle of rehearsals. Images are emerging, and we're starting to see what the concert will look like; it's impressive.

Is a third series of concerts conceivable?

If it goes well, why not?

Thank you so much!

There really isn't much information. I prefer it that way. I can't wait for September!

What does it mean ? Nationality ? I guess most of people come from European neighboring countries. Then come Canada and USA. and a very small percentage from the rest of the world.

— The Paris production will be a “band” show. No orchestra. No backing dancers. No Cirque-type acrobats. Think 10 musicians with experience in Dion’s productions. Vocals delivered in French and English. Dion has previously performed at Caesars and on tour with a 30-piece orchestra.

I hope the stage design is epic,

will it be in the round?

I’m not going to get my hopes up, but I was expecting a spectacle with various interactive elements, beyond just Celine and her music.

She doesn’t really need the orchestra depending on what they want… if they are aiming more of the rock feel than the 10 pc band with backing music tracks will help the songs sound more appealing live…. While the orchestra was beautiful on some songs on others it watered them down, so it really depends on what she’s singing.

Also,  the man who wrote the article isn’t always the most reliable. He’s based in Las Vegas and is probably asking former orchestra members and maybe basing his guess on that. He’s been wrong plenty.

Ok, so the most interesting thing is ‘Plentitude (The company which the Arena is being renamed after) is a renewable electricity company that operates in more than 15 countries. The company has entered into a new naming-rights partnership with venue owner Live Nation. Thought you should know that.’

🫢 The Colosseum & The Sphere are both Live Nation linked theatres…

Yes but tickets were sold prior when it was La Defense arena I believe it was AEG venue, and since tickets were sold before the switch I believe the shows will produced by AEG still.

The good thing about the Sphere is that it’s independently ran by Sphere entertainment so both Live Nation and AEG artists are open to perform there.
