I’m all for things evolving and moving on with technology etc… but at the same time, bring back getting concert tickets from a music store 🤣

This whole experience would honestly put me off ever getting concert tickets ever again… just ridiculous! 

But I’m now finally over it… roll on Vegas where if you know someone, you can simply email someone fill out a form and get a front row seat with zero stress and no jumping through hoops like an absolute eejit. 🙄😂

I don't know if this was posted already but La Defense Area says people who subscribed to the presale can be contacted up to April 9th. So I wonder how this will turn out.

Positive Thoughts

• This is just the pre-sale! Only a portion of tickets will be sold that way.
• We might be selected tomorrow or the day after tomorrow - this is not over!
• We can still find a ticket through the general sale!
• Registering is different to actually buying - the Weeknd has several shows lined up in London this summer and none of them is sold out despite very high demand. 
• Fellow members who get selected might be able to buy tickets for others
• Some people will be selling tickets anyway!

Most of the tickets will be sold throughout the 3 presales. There will be like 5-10% left for the general.

And yes, closer to the date reselling will be available for these tickets, so by then a bunch would come back online.

Good luck to everyone trying. Wishing you success. I'm personally sitting this one out. Getting concert tickets this day and age is such a hassle. Full of bots, scams, resellers. Takes the fun out of it. 

My own solution would be to make every ticket tied to an ID, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Very strict. I'm sure people would cry "but what if my 16th cousin or my pet alligator dies and I need to cancel" yeah honestly I dont care about that, I'd rather that person get screwed over than the bots win out and screw over several thousands of people like is always the case.

That's what I think they should do as well Tyler ... these bots, scammers and re-sellers just want to screw people ...

I agree and there's a solution if you have to cancel, it's called insurance.

I understand everyone getting pissed about people on tik tok that know one or two songs getting the code, absolutely! It’ll be the same people that if they buy tickets will be moaning that most of the concert is in French, in a French city 🙄.

those of us that have been around for years, unfortunately do not have more right than a newer fan to be there, it seems unfair but it’s true. Hopefully everyone that can be there can enjoy every moment because it is such a special thing. Some people that have codes may not get tickets also. Celine will do Montreal and Vegas, there is no doubt, she has a contract with RW to fulfill. And when she is back to regular performances the hype with the 1/2 song fans will wear off and all of us will get our turn. Good luck guys, honestly, what I like about this forum is how even those that have been around understand that being a long time fan doesn’t give us a bigger right to be at the concerts.

What’s unfortunate about the lottery is that I feel it’s taken away the excitement of buying tickets.  There would usually be quite the buzz about getting ready to buy the tickets but it seems most of us will just be watching on the sidelines.  
For those who got the email, good luck, I hope you get through the presale in one piece and that you come out with that golden ticket!

Most of these 1/2 song fans are wanting their Instagram/TikTok/Snapchat moment and, unfortunately, that's it.

I honestly hope that Montreal will be easier. I'm only an 11 hour drive from Montreal... plus however long it takes me to cross the border... and I've never been anywhere in Canada besides the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, so I'm taking the fact my next concert is #10 as my sign to go to Montreal for my first French concert.

Well beyond Céline, it's truly disturbing how the internet and social media have amplified and exacerbated the level of parasocial relationships fans have with their favorite artists, and how they feel it gives them special insights/ownership/entitlements.
