BTW, I don't mean to single you out - I get how disappointed so many people are (including me - I didn't get a code, either), and how they're looking for someone/something to blame and at which they can aim their frustration.  But I see so many examples of this kind of entitlement masquerading as altruistic fandom from fans who truly believe they're being completely impartial while simultaneously saying exactly the opposite ("she doesn't owe us anything at all but it's completely wrong that we haven't been given special treatment").  

Well beyond Céline, it's truly disturbing how the internet and social media have amplified and exacerbated the level of parasocial relationships fans have with their favorite artists, and how they feel it gives them special insights/ownership/entitlements.

When I say 'unconditional', I’m talking about the fact that I will love her regardless, not that I don't expect anything. I should have said 'fan' instead of 'real fan'. I personally just don't like the idea that some people are going to be there only for the hype while they don't even care about her, vs people who really appreciate her ('fans'), it's not that deep. I don't feel 'entitled' to seats, I'm not asking for anything for free, I just wish it was like before, when pre-sales were more confidential to avoid this s*** show that makes Celine look like a circus.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I always think she can do it and this won’t be the last tour assuming she will do more shows. You can see her aura being strong. She’s strong and excited like you can’t see her weakness like she was healed unlike the previous videoshoots. This is another celinaissance i guess. 2016 and 2026

I don’t think it’s her last go around, but I'm saying 3 shows per week, and 2 shows in A row… is a tall order. 3 shows per week for any 58 year old woman without SPS is a lot. I’m surprised the rumored 6 shows weren’t just added on in terms of more weeks. Any setbacks (god forbid) would make more tours/residencies in the future less likely. We have to remember this is definitely a test for Celine, yes she’s doing better but let’s understand she’s 100% using Paris as her guinea pig to gage how many shows she’s capable of for her voice/body and how she reacts to them after. She won’t truly know til she’s doing it, no matter how many rehearsals she does.
 

But hey, I’m not her doctor, I’m sure they are confident enough in this. The last thing they want is to cancel shows or push too far. And I’m so happy she’s back!

I got mine at face value, and i think a few others did too, but unfortunately both ticketmaster and AXS run “platinum” tickets where they essentially Jack the prices up to whatever they want in line with “demand”, which results in far higher ticket prices than are put forward by the artist.
