If she isn't transparent and humble about this, or if she doesn't address it, I will be very disappointed. Her treatment regimen is obviously private, and yet she may have thrown more money at this thing than governments and funding institutions have done over the same period of time. We have no idea what she has done that has worked so well, and it almost certainly goes much deeper than approved medications for the condition. She has likely spent millions of dollars on a complex and sophisticated wellness routine. It could be dietary, she could be taking specific peptides, it could be certain forms of physical therapy, it could also be massage, infrared sauna, etc. We have no idea.

The unfortunate truth, though, is that she may be the only person in the world who can afford the kinds of treatments that have worked for her. So why not speak up and advocate for mire funding to make those treatments available for everyone else?

No doubt, her motivation won’t be just doing self promotion in the next few months, but talking about all of that. I don’t think those are questions she can ever ignore especially since, you mention, there’s a level of transparency expected to understand what happened and how she seems so revitalized. She’s always been such an advocate for the things she’s passionate about like Cystic Fibrosis and how much it affected her with Karine, so I think it’s a matter of wait and see.

Hopefully she’s on a few really good TV shows like the usual ones from NBC/ABC/CBS, talk shows like Kelly Clarkson, Drew, Tamron Hall, Sherri, definitely Q with Tom Power in Canada, but also Podcasts where she can really have a conversation, like when Madonna sat with Jay Shetty for a 2 hr+ interview to talk about her spirituality or when just recently, Chaka Khan sat down for an hour long chat on Jessie Ware’s Podcast and where they talked life, music and her career from a singer to singer POV. One of my favourite interviews of Céline was when she was on Graham Norton’s BBC radio show because it was so fun but relaxed.

Podcasts just offer so much intimacy and connection for serious topics like SPS and I really do expect she’ll be talking on a lot more for the residency and for more things in the future.

Postcards? In 2026? At least add a tourbook or a voucher for the store with a VIP package.

That said, I hope soooo that this will be documented and released. They really have to film the opening night and release it on platforms. I would love a documentary of this new era.

The demand is so high, just release for the people who won't attend.

Part of Belgian coverage on the Céline-news had neurologists weighing in on the situation which I found quite interesting. According to one neurologist on the radio, it's really not that uncommon for people with SPS to be able to resume their old lives more or less, once they a) get their symptoms under control with medication and b) regain the strength they lost when they were battling the disease (this part can take years). Some may even go into a remission-like state with immunotherapy. The neurologist said the concerts were feasible, assuming it was talked through at length with her medical team of course, but that it was a wise decision to stick with one city to minimize stress.

So he actually sounded a lot like Dr. Piqué, who compared SPS to diabetes, which in many cases can be brought under control.

Others with SPS cannot be helped and get progressively worse though. I think these unfortunate souls are probably overrepresented in the patient community and will color the views people have about SPS (especially combined with what we've seen in the documentary when she was still in the first phase of trying to get the illness under control).

All that said, I do agree that she really must address her health and I will be a bit disappointed if she doesn't.

Celine is a self confessed ‘open book’ so I am sure she will further address this, I don’t feel like us the fans should feel disappointed if she doesn’t anytime soon though, As you say she’s more than likely trialed therapies and medications that are not yet clinically approved for this kind of disorder so there may well be legal restrictions on what can be said publicly. Not to mention she probably feels a huge amount of responsibility to get whatever she does say ‘right’ with the eyes of other SPS sufferers all looking at her.

I think we need to just trust her when she says she’s managing her health and feeling good.

Will the vips be available in the presale or later only?

I do find it interesting the tour promoters in other countries really pushing the Paris gigs. Aiken Promotions in Ireland have been posting loads about it. They are the people being her 2 Dublin gigs as part of the CWT. I assume they’ve been asked to help promote?

Also mad that the TM registration has closed early. I wonder are they gonna add dates cause the demand seems insane

I’ve seen on Twitter (X) mentions of the numbers signing up for the presale reaching almost 4 million… the demand for these shows is astronomical, and in a way might be the signal that the days of multiple interviews, across TV, Radio, and Print are over for her (I hope not!! but at this rate why even bother when you’ve got registered interest to fill a venue of that magnitude 100 times at full capacity). Her team seem to finally be embracing the modern approach to promotion and capitalising on her return in the best way possible.

Except her interviews and TV show appearances are not only a means of promotion but also a way for her to talk to her fans, say what she wants to say (like what she’s been through), and have fun doing quirky things or collaborating with people she wouldn’t otherwise cross paths with. I’m sure she misses this aspect of her career too and will hopefully immerse herself in it again if her health allows. Just think of all the fun she had over the years at Star Academy, for example.

Anyone experience with the lottery and multiple accounts? I know people use family members to register but I was wondering if like a family member gets chosen and you use their code to enter the presale. Do you also need to use their creditcard which they used to confirm they are not a bot? Or can you use a different one?

I think they’re going to add the rumoured Monday dates, while still keeping it within 5 weeks like advertised (they’re usually very careful with the words used to advertise her shows).

I doubt that.. 3 shows a week on this “trail” would be risky… maybe the plan is to have this enormous demand and then move onto other cities while the demand stays high. London next? People would missed out on Paris would fly to London. Etc.

Specifically in the pavilion studio common area. There is a virtual tour that you can see the space.

Not surprisingly, it looks like it was shot with a Wide angle lens as that inner nook looks considerably narrow to the video.

The numbers of promotional appearances and press runs she did dwindled significantly with each passing album, even comparing the promotional runs for SA and LMBTL to EUS and Courage the difference is very noticeable. Courage and EUS got what? Maybe 8 or so sit down interviews combined? And maybe about 2 formal appearances on tv shows each during the actual period of the albums release. Since then the formal kinds of promotional appearances and interviews Celine did for the bulk of her career have died away, replaced by Gen-Z high energy, and highly stylised formats of promotion that I really can’t see her having any interest in doing whatsoever. With the exception of maybe 2 interviews in the style of the IA:CD press, I really don’t see her ever hitting the big promo push again.

I forgot to add this but a few weeks ago there was speculation that Céline was going to be at the Oscars. She didn’t show up but, it definitely seems like she could’ve been in LA at the time and either didn’t plan to go or, planned to but ended up feeling exhausted after doing, what I would assume would be, photo shoots, videos etc.

I’m of the camp she might have planned to go, considering she had a whole glam team with her, but who knows.

i guess whoever saw that random LAS-LAX charter was partially right.

Most likely Studio 5 because the walls are a greyish hue and you can see a window which would match that studio

That s the problem. Speculation who will say that she should have been there but cancelled you know why.

it looks that the plan was to keep absolutely everything secret for the D day. With no other appearance.

otherwise yes I don t think she will do traditional promo tour. No need too, and be a bit dated now. Doesn’t need she won’t address some subject or will do some interview but not necessarily in the old traditional way.

the question is how she will present her new live voice before the Tour ?

If I had to guess id say they’re gonna save the big reveal for the first show; build up as much anticipation as possible and make sure to capitalise on that audience being the first people in 6 years to hear her sing live… as if they need anymore anticipation lol. I really don’t think in my life time I’ve seen this large of a media frenzy about a singer doing concerts since Michael Jackson signed up for his O2 residency, even the Eras Tour with Taylor Swift moreso capitalised on news stories coming up as the tour progressed, rather than being this bombastic and front loaded

There’s also a chance that she was insecure or downright scared because she didn’t know what was happening to her body and when it would flare up. So she lived in fear, taking dangerous doses of medication and possibly only being able to show up in decent condition to her own scheduled shows. We really don’t know what was happening behind the scenes, but I’m assuming that will have played a part in her skipping many appearances.

I, too, don’t expect her to be on TV as much as she was back in 2002, 2007 or 2012, not least because like you said times have changed and there are many other options now—but I don’t think you can use the late 2010s as a reference for anything going forward. That was then and this is now and, although she obviously still has to take it easy, she now knows what she can sign up for, what she has to do to get there, how long it will take her and what to do if there’s a problem.

While fear kept her hidden away in the past, knowledge should now allow her to cautiously pick and choose what she wants to do on her own terms.

Well I think they’re selling the idea that the Céline that everyone knows and loves is back, not that she’s got a “new voice”.

She was asked in a French interview in 2024 if she will learn to embrace a “new” voice and she said no, she will not embrace anything but rather she will get HER voice back, suggesting she will not accept anything less than being able to belt out whatever she wants whenever she wants.

So I don’t think they see a need to present anything beforehand, people know what to expect from Céline and she obviously believes that she can meet or exceed those expectations come September 12th.

Plus we’re reportedly going to have heard her in three new songs before she steps onstage anyway.
