Shamrock_1982 Posted March 26, 2026 at 12:03 PM Posted March 26, 2026 at 12:03 PM To be fair it’s very common and usually it’s for access to a private box for that particular partner/company or a small section on the side of the lower sections. I’ve been to a few concerts like this before and it’s how it usually works. Quote

It’s all the fees they use on the US tickets… I wonder if Celine is still having to pay part of that lawsuit or if it’s gone now? I also wonder if she’s under contract for so many years with AEG to make up for the canceled Courage and Celine RW residency? All of those things could fall on the backs of the consumer and make for even higher prices. Quote

If she can´t do many shows together what´s the point? 2,000 people a night, two nights a week? I don´t see the point. She should do small residencies around the world but in big arenas. Like she´s planned for Paris or like Shakira is doing in Madrid or Adele did in Munich. Less demanding for her body and voice I think. I agree. Plus she will get the opportunity to really see the world. In the documentary she said she has visited too many countries, but never really saw them. Quote

As far as I am concerned, Celine should charge as much as she wants. At least she can sing and perform. Quote

I was one of the many fans that was very skeptical about Celine going to Vegas in 2003 when she first launched a residency. At that time, I wasn’t sure it was a great idea for her legacy at such young age however, Vegas has never made more sense than it does right now for her for her to be able to drive 20 minutes to the venue > beats the jet lag with SPS. multiple concerts in Vegas that I’ve attended and surprisingly I’ve enjoyed all the Vegas ones more than any of the tour stops that I’ve been to… I think because it really does feel intimate in that theater. I got a selfie with Celine during one of the mosh pit concerts in 2017. It’s truly a way a fan should experience a show from their favorite artist Edited March 26, 2026 at 02:23 PM by Nmj 2 Quote

ordinary fan Posted March 26, 2026 at 03:25 PM Posted March 26, 2026 at 03:25 PM (edited) I guess an intimate setting with around 5000 people is a nice atmosphere but being with 40.000 is surely an experience too 🤗 For me only counts seeing Celine live, no matter the size of the venue nor if its open air or not. We all know what she's been through these past years so I will take every concert I can get no matter what format Edited March 26, 2026 at 03:26 PM by ordinary fan Quote
CelineDionFreak Posted March 26, 2026 at 03:34 PM Posted March 26, 2026 at 03:34 PM At this point, I think I’ve convinced myself just get a ticket and deal with the travel later on… like I had a ticket for the premiere night at RW and still hate that it was canceled. Understandably so… but I’m willing to work my butt off to make this work. I mean it’s worth a shot right!? Alex_Incognito Posted March 26, 2026 at 03:39 PM Posted March 26, 2026 at 03:39 PM What I liked about Caesars Palace was that it was like visiting Celine's home. It was hers - all hers. But I sure saw some clunkers or crowds with zero soul - not giving her much to work for. As I said before, her going back to the Olympia would be my dream. Hell, even the Zenith. would be nice. 2 Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990

AdrienneM Posted March 26, 2026 at 11:06 PM Posted March 26, 2026 at 11:06 PM Vegas was originally designed to provide stability and a home for her children (and the obvious financial benefits, her contracts were insane) both times she started her vegas residencies. The irony is it’s now become full circle, her kids are grown and self reliant now, and she herself has become the one who would benefit from the stability and the home base, and so I think if she does return to more regular performing- which as much as I want, I respect if she can’t do so or needs more time to- vegas is by far the best option. But as of now? All I’m looking forward to is the second I see her set foot on that stage in September ❤️ 2 Quote

karatedude317 Posted March 26, 2026 at 11:37 PM Posted March 26, 2026 at 11:37 PM I hope they do something similar to when she stepped back on stage for the first time since Rene’s death, where fans could watch it live on YouTube for the first 20 minutes or so and listen to her speech. She could give an opening speech to the fans, and sing a few songs so that all of us can revel in her first return to a stage for a concert in 6 years 7 Quote

Maybe another live album could work. The show will be way too iconic for them to miss that. 2 Quote
ewh12 Posted March 27, 2026 at 12:01 AM Posted March 27, 2026 at 12:01 AM I wonder if the geopolitical climate has made it important to establish other bases outside of the U.S.? Not to say she will leave anytime soon, but there may be less resistance from fans abroad if she plays in Europe? Though the ongoing conflict now is even making more things complicated with oil and gas being precious commodities and potentially raising prices for lots of goods and services. Still, It could also just be a test for Céline and how she performs, no doubt. Nonetheless, it’s going to be even more of an expensive trip for many. 1 Quote
