Yeah I saw something similar. It really annoys me that there will be people who just got lucky to be there and don't bother when she leaves the stage. And us who totally feel something different when she performs.

I really don’t see the purpose in this?  The tickets will sell like hotcakes 🥞

I'm sure it's somwhere in the deal that certain entreprises receive some tickets - whether it be with the venu, the ticketseller - who knows.  There's always the haves vs the have nots.

Giving them out before the said shows are even announced… is wild 😂

To be fair it’s very common and usually it’s for access to a private box for that particular partner/company or a small section on the side of the lower sections.

I’ve been to a few concerts like this before and it’s how it usually works.

I hope she'll come to Quebec eventually. I don't understand why it wasn't even an option for her comeback...

She’ll be crucified if she doesn’t step foot in her home province.  Surely to god they know this.

Starting to see articles in France asking "Are you expecting exhorbatant ticket prices?"   Let's pray not.  I always found her European ticket prices much more human and affordable than her US ones.

It’s all the fees they use on the US tickets…

I wonder if Celine is still having to pay part of that lawsuit or if it’s gone now? I also wonder if she’s under contract for so many years with AEG to make up for the canceled Courage and Celine RW residency?

All of those things could fall on the backs of the consumer and make for even higher prices.

They should evaluate if a Vegas residency is a valid option anymore. If she can´t do many shows together what´s the point? 2,000 people a night, two nights a week? I don´t see the point. She should do small residencies around the world but in big arenas. Like she´s planned for Paris or like Shakira is doing in Madrid or Adele did in Munich. Less demanding for her body and voice I think.

I agree. Plus she will get the opportunity to really see the world. In the documentary she said she has visited too many countries, but never really saw them.

We live in an era where Taylor Swift is a billionaire. As far as I am concerned, Celine should charge as much as she wants. At least she can sing and perform.

I was one of the many fans that was very skeptical about Celine going to Vegas in 2003 when she first launched a residency. At that time, I wasn’t sure it was a great idea for her legacy at such young age however, Vegas has never made more sense than it does right now for her for her to be able to drive 20 minutes to the venue > beats the jet lag with SPS.

multiple concerts in Vegas that I’ve attended and surprisingly I’ve enjoyed all the Vegas ones more than any of the tour stops that I’ve been to… I think because it really does feel intimate in that theater. I got a selfie with Celine during one of the mosh pit concerts in 2017.

It’s truly a way a fan should  experience a show from their favorite artist

I guess an intimate setting with around 5000 people is a nice atmosphere but being with 40.000 is surely an experience too ;)🤗 For me only counts seeing Celine live, no matter the size of the venue nor if its open air or not. We all know what she's been through these past years so I will take every concert I can get no matter what format

At this point, I think I’ve convinced myself just get a ticket and deal with the travel later on… like I had a ticket for the premiere night at RW and still hate that it was canceled. Understandably so… but I’m willing to work my butt off to make this work. I mean it’s worth a shot right!?

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

What I liked about Caesars Palace was that it was like visiting Celine's home.  It was hers - all hers.  But I sure saw some clunkers or crowds with zero soul - not giving her much to work for.  As I said before, her going back to the Olympia would be my dream. Hell, even the Zenith. would be nice.

She could do the same weekend format that Adele did in Vegas, which ended up being very successful.

She’s made herself a home there for the last 23 years. If it ends up being the most healthy decision for her to be able to consistently perform, while maintaining a balance of work and life, I’m all for her staying there.

The irony is it’s now become full circle, her kids are grown and self reliant now, and she herself has become the one who would benefit from the stability and the home base, and so I think if she does return to more regular performing- which as much as I want, I respect if she can’t do so or needs more time to- vegas is by far the best option. But as of now? All I’m looking forward to is the second I see her set foot on that stage in September ❤️

Agreed. While the venues in Vegas are great the crowds don’t even come close to matching the ones in Montreal or Quebec City.

I hope they do something similar to when she stepped back on stage for the first time since Rene’s death, where fans could watch it live on YouTube for the first 20 minutes or so and listen to her speech. She could give an opening speech to the fans, and sing a few songs so that all of us can revel in her first return to a stage for a concert in 6 years

Whatever happens it should be filmed and released professionally on dvd or streaming or whatever medium works best. Maybe another live album could work. The show will be way too iconic for them to miss that.

I wonder if the geopolitical climate has made it important to establish other bases outside of the U.S.?  Not to say she will leave anytime soon, but there may be less resistance from fans abroad if she plays in Europe? Though the ongoing conflict now is even making more things complicated with oil and gas being precious commodities and potentially raising prices for lots of goods and services.

Still, It could also just be a test for Céline and how she performs, no doubt. Nonetheless, it’s going to be even more of an expensive trip for many.

Has anyone thought about what the setlist is going to look like? This is what I came up with:

  1. La diva / Hymn to the Sea Medley (Orchestral overture)
  2. My Heart Will Go On
  3. The Power of Love
  4. La Vie en rose
  5. Dans un autre monde
  6. Destin
  7. Le ballet (Instrumental interlude)
  8. Des mots qui sonnent
  9. J'irai où tu iras
  10. Qui peut vivre sans amour
  11. Je sais pas
  12. Ziggy
  13. Because You Loved Me
  14. Encore un soir
  15. S'il suffisait d'aimer
  16. J'attendais (Video interlude)
  17. L'amour existe encore
  18. On ne change pas
  19. Love Again
  20. Early Hits Acoustic Medley: Fais ce que tu voudras / Elle / Tellement j'ai d'amour pour toi / Délivre-moi / Je danse dans ma tête
  21. Le blues du businessman
  22. All By Myself
  23. Ce n'était qu'un rêve (Orchestral interlude)

Encore:

  1. Pour que tu m'aimes encore
  2. Hymne à l'amour

I tried to make it somewhat realistic but also include some of my personal faves she doesn't do live very often :D

I think “realistic”’will be less than 25 songs but I like the optimism… I think it’ll be closer to 15-16 songs
