Peppercorn1991 Posted March 24, 2026 at 07:29 PM Posted March 24, 2026 at 07:29 PM (edited) Another persistent rumor, which has not been confirmed by her team: live from the Eiffel Tower, Céline Dion would announce on Monday, March 30, the day of her birthday, the sale of tickets for her new Parisian concerts. A nice reminder of his remarkable performance - Édith Piaf's hymn to love - during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games in the summer of 2024. https://www.lapresse.ca/arts/chroniques/2026-03-24/celine-dion-is-all-coming-back.php interesting…. I just hope I can get a ticket before they vanish, I’m already anxious about that. To the experienced Celine concert goers, do you have any tips to secure nice seats at her shows? There will be at least 10 shows so you'll probably be able to get a seat... a nice one, that's something else. There's no secrets unless you have a lot of money to spend. 3 Quote

Michael Jackson did something similar when announcing the This Is It residency in London, after a long period of absence. Doing something like this would reach all media and not only sell tickets but more so, change the narrative throughout the world that she is doing well and ready to perform. Kev x 4 Quote

LukeD Posted March 24, 2026 at 08:30 PM Posted March 24, 2026 at 08:30 PM Here are some thoughts on the logistics: La Defense Arena has capacity of 40.000 people. If Celine gives 10 concerts, this means 400.000 attendees. I think it is safe to say that we will be able to book a ticket, considering that the total attendance of the Courage World Tour was around 650.000 and most of us who wanted to find a ticket were able to. Besides, she might add some shows if the concerts sell out quickly. The prices should be high because this is how the game is played nowadays. No shade, but we have artists like Harry Styles with 3 personal albums charging as much as $1500 for a VIP ticket. Celine who has built an entire empire the past 45 years is definitely entitled to some pricey tickets in today's market. I know some of you might be disappointed, but always remember the context in which Celine operates. 1 Quote
KyleVan41 Posted March 24, 2026 at 08:32 PM Posted March 24, 2026 at 08:32 PM I don’t know whether to try and get seats or wait for North America ? Will there be North America ? I can’t see her NOT doing Quebec but man I have a feeling this is all she’s doing this year. this makes sense for a comeback. Resorts world is way too anticlimactic. And did you see their line up ? Pathetic. The comeback needs to be huge and 400,000 seats sold at an average of probably 500 a pop is gonna be huge 2 Quote

The posters in Paris are a great idea, but for me the Eiffel Tower is too much. It stands for the Olympic Games. If you know what I mean. 1 Quote

Nothing is ever too much for Celine, she is known for being dramatic, but reminding people about her performance at the Olympics also won’t do any harm. Thats my opinion - I get what your saying. It would make headlines around the world if this is true. Kev x Edited March 24, 2026 at 08:38 PM by Peppercorn1991 3 Quote

I was wondering if they may pull out a completely new look for this new chapter. Honestly she can go back to the 2003 blonde pixie at this point and I wouldn’t care. I’m just so glad to have new performances! If she does come to NY, I’m going! Quote

Now, with her even grander stature, I would be more incline to believe that that 400.000 would not be enough if there are the sole shows in the whole of Europe. But we shall see 🙃 2 Quote

Koolan Posted March 24, 2026 at 09:17 PM Posted March 24, 2026 at 09:17 PM It would be amazing if the show is held at Metlife stadium in nyc. It's the largest stadium in the US with 82,500 seats. I don't think she's ever had one in an outdoor venue in the US. 3 Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Click here to go to the Amazon homepage.
pat200 Posted March 24, 2026 at 09:17 PM Posted March 24, 2026 at 09:17 PM I find it funny that Munich was interested. She barely was able to fill 30k in 2008 and all her German stops were no where near being full. That would have been the last major city to expect as showing interest. Paris makes so much sense. If it had been the sole location of European concerts, I guess it would not have mattered, as people would have come from France, UK, Poland, etc, and not solely Germans 😉 1 Quote

The numbers for the German leg of the courage tour was a far stronger showing than the taking chances numbers. Interestingly enough, the Taking Chances Tour had some of (possibly even THE best) her best ever numbers in the US, but for the rest of the world it was some of her lowest box scores ever, she didn’t even manage to sell out in Paris in 08. stevo Posted March 24, 2026 at 09:50 PM Posted March 24, 2026 at 09:50 PM I don’t think she was as universally ‘cool’ in 2008 as she was towards the end of Vegas when the ‘Celineassaince’ began 3 Quote
Ajax Posted March 24, 2026 at 09:58 PM Posted March 24, 2026 at 09:58 PM This is why I may be the only one but I’m not sure 2026 is the new courage era and not 2008. I mean the last time the public eye heard about Dion is her having crisis and explaining she cannot sing anymore. She has something to prove before people pay that much money to see her. Quote
