Well if she can go back on then level of 2019 it would be okay. Celine is not getting younger so it's normal having a voice decline a bit. If it's without voice cracks that are due to lack of control over her vocal cords due of spasm it would be fine for me. Just having her back on what she loves so much and being able to continue with her career

Celine has two options of come back. Either she decides to rethink her work ( the songs she will sing, if she will perform and how), or to just restart the way it has ended in 2020. Or not to come back.

I am afraid that what I consider the worse option would be highly probable : restart in 2026 as it has ended in 2020.

I may look like an old-school woman, and probably I am, but all these recent appearances on social media ( what's in my bag, playlist ) are so ridiculous for a woman who is nearly 60 years old. It is so fake and unauthentic, the opposite of the Céline we knew and love. She would be 20 or 30 years old, you understand but then it is a bit painful.

Come on! Céline is a funny person, we all know how funny she is.
It's not about age here, It's about personality and she is like always.
And I love it and make me laugh and feel so happy.
She has a sense of humour, she laughs at herself and about the phone. This has a meaning, when she couldn't speak because (when she was resting her voice) and she had a way to communicate by telephone tapped her finger to say yes or no.
She has spoken about this before, how she had to learn to laugh differently, hos to cough too, etc.
I don't see it as a ridiculous thing, it's Céline and her personality.
What does age mean? She is still young. ♥️

I make my jokes and it goes with my personality, I do't think about my age.There is something I have learned since I was a child that has helped me a lot to overcome tough things in my life : my sense of humour and the ability to make fun of my self.

I don’t find them ridiculous nor over the top for Celine personally. She’s always had this personality the difference is it never had a chance to be shown until she was in an interview or something of that nature to show it. The problem is this team never capitalized on her personality on her social medias. They finally woke up. Celine as a personality is now her biggest strength in 2026… if she wanted to do a talkshow I have no doubt she’d be #1 , people eat up her personality like crazy, they love that quirky aunt energy she gives off.

I was wondering how old fans would cope if she ever branched out into other career options, I'm sure alot of people here would agree she could have easily been a professional something else besides a singer....an  actor, stand up commedian, talk show host etc as has been mentioned many times.  If she ever branched out in to other things, especially if she's having trouble with being a singer, I wondered if fans would embrace her other talents or prefer her to be a singer or nothing? 

Personally I'd love to see her do other things sometimes and show more of her talents that we get glimpses of. Comedy is a big part of her talents and goes crazy popular with people. Look at Celeste Barber when she started posting Comedy online, people love it and it's viral material

I think this is old school which is absolutely fine 🤗  I also see exactly what you're meaning,  but I guess we're living in a very different day and age/ social media time where it's more on trend to be 'cool and quirky '. I think they are tapping into that but I also think they are making the most of it because it suits Celines real character so well. She's probably having fun being herself without it being as judged as it was in her earlier years

Sometimes instead of listening to her music or watching her DVDs etc, I scroll her old interviews and tv specials, especially the very funny ones, they are absolute gold for a good laugh

Personally I want Celine to do music lol and selfishly… I’m just saying her personality is what people also love… she could do a talk show like Kelly Clarkson and probably be just as successful or even more so, because Celine and Kelly both have that likeable personality.

I detect both sexist and ageist undertones here. You frame this behaviour as inappropriate for a woman, thereby introducing a gendered dimension to your opinion. This is particularly concerning considering how society generally polices the behaviour of women more harshly than the behaviour of men. I am also not sure why you think certain behaviours have an expiration date. This is again somewhat problematic in the sense that society tends to treat older people as a burden instead of viewing them individuals with passions, needs, aspirations. I do not think things should be that way. Dear Luke, I have to say I was confused by your comment. I didn't know if I had to laugh or cry. But then I realized I had to answer seriously to your message, that I don't understand. Words have sense and it is important not to use them in an inconsistent way.

There is nothing sexist or ageist in my comment.

Where do you find I would have frame " a behavior as inappropriate for a woman" ?? I used woman because Celine is not a man. Maybe I should have had written for a "60 year-old one". I don't know if it's grammatically correct to write so, I wrote woman because, once again, she is a woman. By the way, I am a woman too and  being a woman is not an insult of nature.

Moreover,  aging is not problematic at all !!! This is life to get old. My comment was about  that you don't appreciate the same things whether you are 20, 40, 60 or 80 and once again it's normal. And I don't think I am wrong, if I say young generation is really into social media stuff , and the older you get, the less you care. We know that Celine never liked these technologies. For a long time, she did not have her own cell phone. You don't wake up one morning and become a geek.

Celine is not our friend. She does not posting on social media to say hello or to break loneliness. She is doing her business. And today, business has to deal with social media.  So to me, ( and again my comment reflects my opinion, and let me think we are still free to express one opinion)  the posts where she gives " her "playlist, or the one with the bag look caricatural and unauthentic. Celine is also the legend she is because she had the capacity to remain authentic and humble in a show business that is completely fake and show off. Dreamy, you're somehow always a bit cryptic and it feels like you know certain things. If that’s the case, I’m not asking you to tell us what’s coming - even though we’re dying of curiosity - but can you at least confirm that something is happening this year?

I have no problem with an aging voice, never did. It's unrealistic for people to expect her to sound like 90s or 2000s Celine anyway. And then of course you add SPS on top of that. 

I'd love to see her in any capacity. But if at all possible, I'd hope she'd keep the bedroom voice locked in the bedroom 😅

I wish she comes back to music at any level... I truly don't care about her voice quality, if she enjoys to sing again, to perform again, to be on the stage again, to feel people's  love again. She can sing like Johnny Cash or Bob Dylan, haha. She can low key and cover her own songs, sing The power of Love in an intimate way, without hign notes if her health condition or her voice doesn't get there anymore. 

It is proven she HAD one of the best voices at least in the 90's, get over it. Time passes, music changes. Passion is the only thing that remains for a good artist. If there is emotion and passion, I don't care about "voice perfection". 

What I truly wish since I watched the documentary is that she would feel free of technic pressure. I was amazed how deaf I am because when she is in studio singing, or later when she has the attack and the she starts to sing the other guy song... she sounded really good even "not perfect"... Who cares about perfection if you make people FEEL...

I think there is much more chance of that happening these days, now she is mature and has re-evaluated her priorities. If this condition had happened to young, pre-children Celine, I don't know how she would have coped, because everything was about perfection, not speaking for days, no dairy, no this or that, nothing else matters but the performance. 100% total dedication to being the best.

But we know after she had children that her focus shifted and she let go (at least somewhat) of constantly chasing perfection. She did say in the documentary that maybe she could sing different songs, a different style. And I know she would enjoy that and find as much love for a new style of singing her repertoire, because it's her passion. And it would be great to hear her take on a new genre or reinterpret her old songs, we've already had a million bombastic performances of ABM, we know she can do it. But imagine a soft and delicate version, something fresh and different that we've never heard before. I would gladly welcome it.

Honestly for me, it depends how much control of her voice she can get back/has already gotten back. As she said when she was trying to record for the Love Again soundtrack, she needs to be able to just sing freely and not worry about her voice. We don't really know much about her current vocal condition but there is no doubt how hard she will be working to get there.

I fully agree with you! In this time where voices are heavily autotuned, music is under 2:30 because of Spotify... I just want to hear (or feel) authentic raw emotional voices in music that takes time to tell a story whether it's under 3 or over 7 minutes. I hope when and if she comes back, she will acknowledge her age, condition and current state of voice and deliver what suits her at this point in her life. Not trying to live up to the heydays because as you said, it's not the 90's anymore.
