On iTunes Philippines, it’s Top 1 album but… there’s one review made by a celine fan and gave it 1 star and said

 

“This is just a bunch of music that we have already purchased. Could’ve included new tracks”

 

True! But it doesn’t look great seeing that 1 star rating LOL

Maybe for those people who still likes physical albums? Collectors…. But yeah! At least more effort in booklets

Totally pointless, even for a collector, IMHO.

 

I stopped collecting physical albums when iTunes (2012) and Apple Music (2015) became available in our country. Since if you buy an album on iTunes it comes with Digital Booklets. (Encore Un Soir, Loved Me Back To Life & Sans Attendre)

But it was better to release her albums on vinyl and made some real collector's editions going with this release.

 

It's not that I expected sooo much from Sony, but this silence is just beyond me.

But this 3D editing could work for Set My Heart On Fire's lyrics video. Perfect visuals for a summer hit. Or make something like FOMO

Love Again is included in New Music Daily on Apple Music ans listed as a new release. They should've released a proper video for the song, not that horrible and cheap lyrics video.

 

A music video with footage from the documentary and other footage of Celine — like old home movies, her performing, some backstage footage, being silly with her kids, etc — would have been lovely.

Am I crazy, or A New Day Has Come isn't EXACTLY the Christian B Mix released in 2002?

the soundtrack version sounds more fuller, with more instruments... just like the regular album version, but edited short...

Given its prominent inclusion in the film, the soundtrack would also have been an opportunity to put Céline's recording of this song on CD - at least it would have been something "new". (Putting it in spoilers for anyone still trying to avoid foreknowledge of the film!)

There's even the officially released version from

En Concert that could have been dusted off without having to do too much to it, although there may be rights issues involved with that album

I wonder if maybe Sony doesn't own the IP. I don't think they have rights to her early catalogue which could explain it.
