I was thinking the same thing but didn’t want to say it out loud . God all this silence from her does nothing but fester rumours. It is kind of silly to be doing the event 2 years before the actual anniversary.

Honestely, it's probably a desperate attempt of the Québecois organizers to get some kind of reaction out of Céline.

They always had special access to her and it must be hard losing that since she's become a complete recluse.

So they may be looking for an 'in' so they can restore access in the future.

Now maybe if proceeds would go to charity (SPS research?) this might get a reaction out of her.

But I don't think that's the case (at least it's not mentioned in the article).

With Scott and some of her musicians performing, with some of her siblings allegedly in attendance...if we don't see her, that will speak volumes and I'm honestly a bit afraid of the possible reality check.
