The detail in the hair is crazy good, and it gives the artwork such an impressive finish!

I wanted to try and restore some old photos as well, and while I don't really know to get them to that 4K super clear quality as you Thomas, I think it turned out pretty good. Do you have some kind of other software for that?

It was just a very basic prompt such as:

"Edit the image so it appears to be taken on a modern and professional DSLR camera. Do not change the pose. The model is youthful and her skin is smooth."

I used your prompt and this was the result.

Still pretty nice considering the original quality. What did you use? You need a generator capable of 4K generation for really good detail, and Nano Banana Pro is for me the only choice right now. It will create closeups with extreme detail such as eyelashes, individual hairs and pores. But the further it zooms out, the less detail it will generate. So if you use a photo like this, which isn't particularly close up on her face, it won't be as detailed.

If you cropped it to just her head, you would find the details on her face are generated far better. That's when apps such as skin texture generators can put some detail back. Or you can do a body shot to get the overall higher resolution composition, then a separate close up face shot and merge them in Photoshop.

I had been looking for these photos from 2006 for ages and I finally found them. Any chance you guys could improve their quality? I know it's far from good. There's a fourth picture on the reply to the tweet.

The photo quality is so bad, it really struggled. But with some manipulation I think it made a reasonable result. I did not do the 4th image as that one was already Photoshopped, I guess done by Blacktooth in the past?

What a coincidence because I was looking at that photoshoot today as well. Such a shame there weren't more images released, there must be so many amazing shots. Occasionally, Andre Rau will upload photos to his Facebook and he does exhibitions but I've never seen anything new, he only posts the familiar shots. Maybe one day he will share unseen ones.

I tried to upscale screenshots from the All The Way behind the scenes on YouTube, so in a way we can get more HQ images that we never saw before, especially the white top shoot. The video is very low resolution unfortunately but it's worked pretty well. So this is at least better than nothing!

Thomas, this is really insane! Considering that the video is only available in low quality!

Imagine what AI can do in a few years with videos.

I really like it, it's striking and powerful. Also I loved this "Rachel" haircut on her.

I used Photoshop with the Nano Banana Pro (Gemeni 3) plugin. I pretty much followed your steps and tried to the same thing. Yeah, Nana Banana is better than anything else I've tried, and I love that it's possible to restore old photos with it. So do you resize the image to a much larger size before you use the AI to create the detail? That's what I did with this picture, but I didn't want to do too crazy with the size.

Oh that's interesting. I will keep that in mind and try some more photos like that.

Your result is just gorgeous! It's crazy what Nano Banana can do on such low res photos with great results.

i was challenged by this photo @_@

This is just gorgeous! I was gonna a do a few more from this era too. She looks so beautiful here.

The Nano Banana plugin via Photoshop is limited to 1K output. If you want to get 2K or 4K images, you have to use Nano Banana Pro. This is available from Google itself via Google AI Studio or from third party providers like Higgsfield AI or Freepik. You have to subscribe to their services to get access, either buying credits or paying for access to the Google API.

I think I described on a previous page how you can use Google AI Studio free for 90 days, up to $300 worth of generations (which is a lot of generations). It's actually really easy to do, just looks confusing on first glance as the website is not particularly user friendly. You could check that out, as I don't know when Photoshop will increase their resolution output.

Last year, a member of this forum shared some unpublished, low-quality cascade photos of Céline Dion from the All the Way… A Decade of Song and Let's Talk About Love photoshoots. I believe these images are authentic, even though the original high-quality files were never provided. Now, with the help of powerful Nano Banana AI, these photos can finally be revealed in their highest possible quality.

Unfortunately, these images are not real; I created them.

Sorry!

It was there all along, but nobody noticed. Thanks to artificial intelligence and the restorations of wonderful fans, we can finally discover the outfit Celine is wearing in the photo on the back cover of ATL.
