It’s lovely just to imagine her voice as she says this.

 

‘One day get back onto the stage’ makes me think that it isn’t any immediate time soon

Kate jokes aside, so glad to see this from her. “One day” sounds far off and uncertain, but it’s good to know she seems to be back to having a more public profile and a post like this, from her, really matters. And I believe it’s the first time we’re told when she was actually diagnosed.

 

A number of media outlets picked up on this already - Hollywood Reporter, People, among others - despite it being late Fri night.

It's her drive to be on that stage again one day.

 

She could easily say, nevermind I'm not doing this anymore.

I do wonder if maybe she's still a bit in denial, is it the company that wants to keep us in the dark about her on stage career until they absolutely certain it's a no or a yes.

 

So many questions. We just need that documentary. :giggle:

Such a good message from Celine. ‘One day’ sounds so far away, hope she will succeed. She is being missed on stage, it has been four years since her last concert, hope for us and especially Celine it won’t stay her last concert.

It's a good message for the SPS Awareness Day and the family photo is great. And yes "one day" sounds far away...

I think you guys are reading too much into the “one day” comment. Even if she has a return this year in the pipeline, that’s months off, how else would she phrase it?

I just love how some good came from this terrible diagnosis Celine has… if you’d like to go down the “rabbit hole” and have some free time, check out the some instagram comments on her latest post; so many people with SPS thanking Celine for bringing more awareness even saying things like how they finally feel “seen during this isolating experience” and that to “stay strong , it gets better”, it’s awesome to see!

Again, I think y’all reading too much into it. Do I need to remember everyone about how many times the Courage Tour was delayed first due to covid then her illness. Celine is being political with that term, also, I’m sure we will see on the documentary more about the stage return one day… yesterdays pos, served its purpose. I wonder if her PR real had to remind her of the day being SPS awareness day…. They posted it at 11:30 pm EST… they almost never post that late.

It’s nice to see so much coverage of it in a plethora of outlets, not just entertainment press (though some have gone a bit far… like Variety Fair with a “Celine Dion Announces Surprise Plan to Return to Stage” title… really? 🙄 Anything for clicks, I guess.)

Whoever wrote that should be fired…just for saying that she “announced” a “surprise” return.

The question still remains what was she doing in NY and Boston?

 

The only solid info we have is that Celine dinned at a Boston restaurant. Otherwise, we don’t have a clue as to what Celine was doing in either City other than the Berklee speculation we heard from a member here, that has since disappeared. So it seems to be a professional gig, because Shari and Dee were in NYC with her but for all we know it could just be a girls trip for them and maybe they’ve become a close small group of friends. Time will tell.

I can’t see there being any shows for a long time. I suspect she’s not given interviews yet as the documentary will be the big one. She’s doing better but it’s a long long process.

This young lady commented under Celine’s SPS post yesterday, she’s a fellow sufferer of SPS. She chronicles her journey…such a brave fight. God bless them all and prayers this gets the proper funding to find a cure soon!

This might be a grim post, sorry if I offend anyone in advance: the fact that Celine is watching a good amount of hockey games might be an indicator that this is a dying woman's last wish: she is trying to create as much memories as possible with her children because she knows that her health is a ticking clock and if she knew that she is going to die tomorrow, a mother's last wish would be to spend as much time with her kids before she dies. It's not like they are watching Stanley cup kinda games, they are watching regular games that a few people watch yet you can see that she is trying to make it as special as possible for them by meeting the players in the locker room so that she makes it more exciting for them, a memory they will keep once she passes away. I really hope I am wrong and that documentary would give us hope for her full recovery. Edited by Mudo

Let’s not forget this is a woman who once tried to buy an NHL team.

RC played travel hockey for a number of years, presumably the twins do to.

And Celine’s first crush was a hockey player (Sylvain, was it?)

This isn’t some new-found hobby.
