She has talked about stopping (the 1:15ish mark) a couple of times that we know of. I wonder how this "stoppage" is for her. Does she feel the need to be on stage? Or does she realize that she needed to have a life and pick her own tomatoes?

I think the hotel is the Royal Monceau.

I have already asked you for an english translation of the interview with Michael Jasmin (from 2010 I think) in a comment on Youtube. Except for that the interview with Denise Bombardier and the other one with Jeanette Bertrand would be great. And the D'elles (especially Quebec version) Tv specials. If that could EVER be possible, that would be amazing. Hopefully at least some of the things I asked for are already on your list :-P And Thank you for what you're doing for us!!!

Oh yes you're right, this one is a very good one. For french fans it is a treasure : seeing Céline reacting to old videos, rare TV footages, memories...

One thing that I appreciate is that she was always surrounded by good people with good intentions, as she says all the time. Even how we fans do and have critiqued their business side, it really cannot be overestimated how important it is as a young child to have love and positivity and safety around you. And it seems she had a lot of older males who respected her and didn't take advantage of a younger girl/young woman.

 

Edit: I find Celine's comment about Elvis' manager quite silly/facile re: how he didn't have a global vision for Elvis. In Elvis' days, rock and pop music was just starting out and there were no global music stars really. Besides, English wasn't nearly as much of a global language either. Celine had the advantage in that, decades later, she spoke French also, went into pop music, had artists who blazed a global trail, and more. Elvis' manager would have been daft to think in those terms.

Just a heads up : I remember Condor The Subtitler having to remove this same video because the documentary maker didn't want it published on YouTube.

I do think he reached out first (instead of filing a claim) .
