I think the day that she moves back to Canada full time and only travels here to the US for work is in the near future. Obviously I’m just guessing this and have no info LOL. However, I think now with her parents, and René all laid to rest there she will soon eventually take her place there again, full time.

Yep, I’m fairly certain she’ll be the French rep (who better?)

Though maybe she’ll rope in Ryan Reynolds (if he’s not already part of this; he’s been very involved in food bank fundraising as part of this crisis).

It doesn’t seem to be from the news outlets... I personally think it should be in English to gain a greater audience and reach around the world.

 

I love her French music so I wouldn’t mind if it’s in French.

Stronger Together/ Tous Ensemble now has a much deeper meaning for me after the events here in Nova Scotia yesterday. While I was not directly affected I know many people who knew some of the victims. I know the event is for support for those in the health crisis but the country coming together will still do everyone some good.

My guess as she has done solo in her tour and the best fit song of all of this

My fear is that she probably use the footage of the clip she sang on one world. Meaning the nice setup was actually for one world and this upcoming sat program. Hope i am wrong but her management has proven to be lazy in the past. So hard to tell lol

As much as I love “The Prayer”, I really hope she does something in French this time. Québec must be represented and if Céline isn’t the one doing it, it’s the same as no one doing it. She could’ve recorded it at the same time, but probably would do so in a different outfit. Plus, she would do The Prayer solo—-which to me is better than nothing.

Celine is not the only singer in canada that can speak french. Bryan Adams can too and i am sure some are bilingual too. It is just celine is a native speaker

I think the point is to reach Canada and Canada is a bilingual country. In my opinion there should be tons and tons of French as well. It’s very fatiguing hearing monolingual, anglo centric points of view. Especially on a forum That honors a woman from Québec.
