Wow, the pandemic is getting more and more crazy in Europe and Vegas is announcing shows this year. That’s interesting

I know, one of my relatives has received his first vaccine shot in january and his second vaccine shot at the end of february and he ended up being infected by the UK variant anyway toward the end of march despite being careful and now he is in intensive cares fighting for his life.

I can't see this residency starting before 2022. Otherwise most of her international fans won't even be able to make it to the US if they aren't vaccinated. Most of Europe won't be done vaccinating until September at the earliest and about the same for Canada.

I agree, I’m ready for the next chapter, hopefully something artistically heavy.

Tho the album “Courage” album will always have those gems, she won’t even sing them in the CWT, so personally this tour has gone stale.

It’s 1,000 seats larger than The Colosseum, which may over all further induce them to reduce her schedule, due to being able to get more audience members, more money and more people coming in and out of the resort and it’s surrounding area, with fewer shows in total.

 

That and just generally 5,000+ is harder to sell than 4,000, simple math really

Yea but Celine could easily sell out 80-100 shows a year at 5000 seats, but still will likely be anywhere between 40-75 shows a year.!

For the vast majority of the Vegas shows outside of the first and final legs, she was not selling out every show. Often most of them by a 100-300 seat amount, when she was doing 50-60 shows a year. Let alone 50-60 at a larger capacity of over 1,000 seats. So I don’t know exactly how accurate that statement is. However, I’d probably place a bet for now at around 40 shows a year, as I don’t think she ever actually fulfilled the “70 show a year” promise of the Celine show over any of its 8 years.

 

Im willing to bet it will fall in the 40-50 a year category, with her actually likely to do around 35-45... especially considering there will be two other large female headliners at the venue at the same time.

Oh she’ll have the most shows, that’s for sure, but it probably won’t be to the degree she even had it at when she signed her 2011 contract... and I also see her personal pay sky rocketing as well

We all want Celine to get paid more but maybe she wasn’t paid more than those you Mentioned because that would drive ticket prices up. She makes plenty, no hurting for her next meal let’s hope they keep it affordable for everyday fans.

This is the part I'm afraid of as well. The ending of Celine was a clear indication of what people are willing to pay.

 

I also looked at pricing for Zedd and Tiesto ....that starts at $150 for general admission. Granted, not a lot when you think about concert tickets, but that's a heck of cover charge to get into a club lol. And sets the tone for what we might expect.

I feel like, with the twins still being school age, she's always going to choose Vegas over most other things. Not everything but a lot. It's stability and she makes a killing.

I have no problems with "the hits" being part of her setlists. I actually still enjoy hearing some of them. However, if she throws in another bunch of random and/or over-performed covers at the expense of her own catalogue again, I'm going to vomit. I'm not expecting rarities like "Love You Blind" or "All Because Of You" be performed, but tell me is it asking too much for something like "Somebody Loves Somebody" to be included somewhere in the show? I think not.
