I realize you're expecting this gigantic media blitz promotion and out of this world promotion to be happening but in my opinion (yes I said it) that is unrealistic. They are not going to be spending millions of dollars on promotion when radio doesn't play her music anymore. I know it's difficult for some to accept but while she is respected across the industry they aren't going to spend a ton of money for someone who is established as those they are trying to get into the spotlight. Do I agree with everything they do, of course not but I have learnt to let go what I cannot control.

It's not even about that. Artists just don't promote their first tour date and this is it. Absolutly no one care. I love you since a long time isurrender, but you're reaching the same level of craziness and irrationality as the other members just craving for something new.

The big promo has to be for the album release, not for the tour.

At the very least 7 or 8!! Its the only time she can really perform any song from that album that wont become singles. After that they are dead. Like TLBSEPT we got lucky she resuscitated that song 20 yrs later.

 

I meant until the albums release!! It doesn’t make sense to hear the biggest part of the album live before it’s even released so 4 would be more than respectable for a start!

It doesn’t have to be expensive. Not by any means. That’s not how it works today. She can have a low-cost yet EDGY promotion on social media. Or a viral promotion in an unconventional way in real life...something performative.

 

Yet her stale, homespun team is as exciting as a pencil. Down to the font and color scheme they use to adorn her IG stories. I shudder to think how out of touch she would become were Pepe not in her life...at least he is somewhat in touch with the new media.

 

Side note: can they stop signing off everything as Team Céline/TC...

Lets start with MIAMs lead single coming out a year before the album, only after the album was postponed twice publicly with release dates changed, then the tour flopped, then the remaining singles flopped, then having a lip sync scandal on morning TV and finally the Rockefeller incident

 

Bionic was just a mess full of fails, zero promo and forgettig about the album

 

I named those because youre saying this is the “worst ever” and yet its clearly not.

 

The fact remains, every single interview still mentions (bar this one) the album and the tour. However, the album isnt even OUT yet! Yall want her to perform 8 songs off an unreleased album and to divulge every nook and cranny months before its release, thats pointless and unnecessary. And the tour.. i mean who goes on tv to promote a tour that starts in 2 days? The mention of it alone is gracious considering it was literally everywhere in April

Actually 6 months would be great! We don't hear much from any album after a few months nowadays except for the real big ones. We don't hear about Madonna's album and it's been what, 2 months?
