If you consider RollingStonte or Billboard fashion magazines then yes. Just a couple of examples of many music magazines and blogs praising Celine on everything she does lately. But you already know this, you just prefer to omit it because it doesn't fit your apocalyctic view of Celine's career.

Billboard magazine already had Céline in very high esteems many years ago and with past great albums...

 

Just because RS magazine praises her now, does that mean a change of attitude in the industry? The whole "industry"? Not certainly the music industry, that's for sure.

 

The day she releases that damn new album and she's praised and acclaimed again for her music and what she sings and not what clothing she's wearing, then we will be able to say the "industry" is again on her side. In the meantime, she's just been on the talks for he fashion shows during the tours. How long it's been since we don't see a professional critic because of her music or what she sings in her tours or shows? I can't even remember. Ashes has been a good exception in between (luckily!).

She said they are having "discussions" and that she has "many, many opportunities" at the moment. This is much more difinative than saying "the best is yet to come", which she didn't say.

The ONE time the interviewer asked the question about music and then repeated it again to get an answer happens to be when Celine was gonna give us info about something else. Usually it works out they ask her, and she deflects to family talk and they let her go on and on; instead of getting her back on track from deflecting... we can’t win! Lol

Celine just seems different nowadays. I miss the old bubbly Celine. Don't attack me, guys, for saying this, but she doesn't look happy in my opinion.

 

I think you are absolutely right. She often comes across as tired, sad and a little lost at the moment. It was even more evident seeing her in person a few weeks ago. But then that is totally understandable, I am sure in her position I would be the same or worse. I am sure she must have good and bad moments, but there is something in her eyes that gives it away.

 

I suppose as she said in this interview she died too.

I didn't know Céline had to be happy all the time, just like some of you here! NOT.

 

We rarely see her in a bad mood so she's forgiven! She's probably completely stressed out with the new clothing line, the album, the end of Vegas and all the new opportunities she has to make decisions on. That's a lot if you don't have a manager!

I think after having it easy with a manager all of her life to take care of business, although she’s more in charge recently I don’t think apart from making her own choices I think she either doesn’t like the other bits that come with being a manager or it’s somply becoming to much.

 

I know she has Dave to help, but she no longer has a stable manager to take the heat off things.

Well Put I agree with everything you just said and it obviously is extremely hard for her to live without Rene and the fact that reporters keep bugging her about it is very rude and disrespectful they obviously don’t understand what its like to lose the love of your life you have known since the age of 12 and began a relationship with at 20. Like even when she has to sing love songs its painful for her because im sure when she sings her power ballads like Power Of Love Because You Love Me and My heart will go on im sure she thinks of Rene while singing these love songs since he was and still is the love of her life. He is as alive as he was just not physically so i think that will remain like that the rest of her life because he was her only love and to top that they had the greatest love story of all time sorry but they did so when being asked or rumours being made up about her in the media probably makes her upset inside because it’s annoying how many times she has to say the same answer because it doesnt just change like after a year or two or even 10 or 20 and i think in her case she will remain devoted to Rene for the rest of her life because she still gets to see him everyday through her kids and hes always inside her and her being strong and to keep going is just for him because she and him were one. Celine and Rene were and always will be one and the greatest love of all time period.

 

Thankyou Angel 2006 for also understanding this and saying what everyone on this forum should always be saying because if your a real fan you know Celine will love Rene and 99% be with him for the rest of her life besides by the time her twins move out she will be in her mid 60s so she will not be alone for a long time and by then she will probably have grandchildren to keep her happy and busy. Just my thoughts of how i feel and what Celines neices and family have told me And overall how Celine talks and i can see the emotions in her face that its still hard for her and she is trying to put on a brave face to keep going because Rene always says the show must go on.

 

I perfectly agree with all you wrote. Celine&Rene was, is and always will be!
