Popular Post RosieBarron Posted November 14, 2018 at 07:47 PM Popular Post Posted November 14, 2018 at 07:47 PM (edited) Well nice to have something new from her. If the interviewer spoke to her for 45 minutes though, why are they not showing it? I'd rather hear her speak than listen to a commentary on what Celine said from someone else. Also it was a bit weird how they felt the need to over analyse what she had said afterwards. Edited November 14, 2018 at 07:47 PM by RosieBarron 9 Quote

For one minute of actual content, they'll have 2 reporters, a journalist and a body language analyst going on about it for 30 minutes 😂 6 Quote

Matias Posted November 14, 2018 at 08:20 PM Posted November 14, 2018 at 08:20 PM Love this Primetime interview. I don't particularly care for Cynthia McFadden, and Celine kinda put her in her place. Me too, loved that interview, she stood up for herlself, talked about her insecurites and how she was/is happy now 1 Quote http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_maic6m257V1rbfceqo2_250.gif"No no, put it back..."

Popular Post stevo Posted November 14, 2018 at 08:45 PM Popular Post Posted November 14, 2018 at 08:45 PM No disrespect, but news channel interviews of Céline from America are absolutely terrible. Terribly edited and mere seconds of actual interview footage with Céline. So poor. Ask her a question and let her answer it. Or at least show the real footage. Unfortunately she’ll be asked the question ‘will you ever be open to love again’ for the rest of her days. Not sure why Céline was a bit dismissive over the new album- it would have been nice for her to say, yep finishing off and it’ll be ready in January. Double whammy of launching the clothing line and announcing new album coming. Hey ho. But yeah, crap, crap interview, considering it was her first in months. And got practically nothing from her apart from Minnie Mouse re. nununu 14 Quote

maki_Dion-er Posted November 14, 2018 at 09:26 PM Posted November 14, 2018 at 09:26 PM Pretty disappointing interview. The interviewer clearly didn't do much research, just asked generic questions. No surprise Celine didn't look at all invested in the interview. And she will always be asked about finding love again (heck, she's been asked this since the same year Rene died), & I think that even if she were open to finding love again she will always give the same answer. There isn't a celebrity that likes being asked about their love life. But here's a different viewpoint, perhaps Celine was trying to not pull attention away from the promotion of Celinununu (which is where she came alive imo) & this is why she chose to downplay & not give much news about the album. She knows that anything she says regarding new music or Vegas will be what people pay more attention to. Yeah --- I think this is her way of telling us she's not doing anything edgy.... Even though that's maybe what she wants to be doing with her English career? She really LOVED LMBTL and it didn't take off. Whereas ASHES is more of a classic Celine sound. So maybe because of the success of ASHES, they've moved the album back in the direction of a classic Celine Dion sound (which is THE WISE THING TO DO!). I'm craving a new I SURRENDER and a new A NEW DAY HAS COME! Celine Dion's classic sound modernized....! this is pretty sad if you ask me. Over thirty years into her career & she can't record whatever type of music she wants cause she has to sell. I hope that if she is going for a more classic Celine that she is still very happy with her album & isn't doing it just to release something. I know she loved Ashes so maybe she will be able to have a good portion of both. 3 Quote

Angel2006 Posted November 14, 2018 at 10:28 PM Posted November 14, 2018 at 10:28 PM I wish this interviewer gave more information on Celine's workouts after her shows. I know she's done yoga and Pilates in the past, but I would love to know her everyday workout routine that she has now, because she looks so good. I want to know what she's doing? I find that pre show prep and after show stuff so interesting sometimes, because it's things we rarely hear about. I liked hearing that she is still a night owl, because I wasn't sure anymore. Her schedule has changed over the years, so I didn't know whether or not she was still a night owl. At one time, Celine got up at 6:00am to get RC ready for school. I know that was a long time ago now, but I wondered if she was still on that schedule because of Nelson and Eddy being young and perhaps waking her up early to play and make breakfast or whatever, so that was a nice tidbit to know. That was my favorite part of the interview, because it was something different. I also liked Celine talking about the first time she took Nelson and Eddy to Disneyland and how they wanted to see Minnie Mouse and all the princesses, instead of all the action heroes. I loved hearing a little bit about there character and get that rare glimpse into there personalities! I wish interviewers would please stop asking Celine about her love life though. Celine has made it clear time and time again that she is perfectly content the way things are and that she will probably always be in love with Rene, so for the love of God, I wish they would put this invasive question to rest permanently. It's none of anyone's business anyways. I find the idea of even thinking you can ask someone that question so offensive and assuming of the worlds annoying classic stereotypes that Celine is trying to avoid. Can there maybe be a Nununu line for widowers who don't want to find new love and are sick of being asked to do so? Tricey3115 Posted November 14, 2018 at 11:46 PM Posted November 14, 2018 at 11:46 PM Well Put I agree with everything you just said and it obviously is extremely hard for her to live without Rene and the fact that reporters keep bugging her about it is very rude and disrespectful they obviously don’t understand what its like to lose the love of your life you have known since the age of 12 and began a relationship with at 20. Like even when she has to sing love songs its painful for her because im sure when she sings her power ballads like Power Of Love Because You Love Me and My heart will go on im sure she thinks of Rene while singing these love songs since he was and still is the love of her life. He is as alive as he was just not physically so i think that will remain like that the rest of her life because he was her only love and to top that they had the greatest love story of all time sorry but they did so when being asked or rumours being made up about her in the media probably makes her upset inside because it’s annoying how many times she has to say the same answer because it doesnt just change like after a year or two or even 10 or 20 and i think in her case she will remain devoted to Rene for the rest of her life because she still gets to see him everyday through her kids and hes always inside her and her being strong and to keep going is just for him because she and him were one. Celine and Rene were and always will be one and the greatest love of all time period. Thankyou Angel 2006 for also understanding this and saying what everyone on this forum should always be saying because if your a real fan you know Celine will love Rene and 99% be with him for the rest of her life besides by the time her twins move out she will be in her mid 60s so she will not be alone for a long time and by then she will probably have grandchildren to keep her happy and busy. Just my thoughts of how i feel and what Celines neices and family have told me And overall how Celine talks and i can see the emotions in her face that its still hard for her and she is trying to put on a brave face to keep going because Rene always says the show must go on. I wish this interviewer gave more information on Celine's workouts after her shows. I also really enjoy the Good Morning America interviews she does. Who else is good with Celine / has a history with Celine in the US? It's a shame Larry King doesn't have his big platform anymore. Nor does Oprah. Ellen and Celine are a bit iffy. But well the last thing that presenter sums it up: I hope the rest of this long interview will be online soon, so the fans can watch it.... Just show the F KING interview and don't talk about it!! I also didn't like they only talked about the album. It was supposed to be about Celinununu the way it's edited it just horrible. Suddenly the 2 creators are there with no introduction... so weird.
