then you need to be in Vegas when I go. The last 3 times (not counting Quebec City) I saw Celine in concert, either Rene walked passed me before the show to Celine walked passed me as she left the arena.

When I was in Montreal for the Taking Chances Tour, she walked passed me to get to the stage and on her way out after the concert, she walked passed me again. And that's not counting the autograph session she held here in Halifax in 1998... Wow come to think of it I've been very lucky.

Wow -- she held an autograph session in '98? That was at the height of the Titanic insanity! How did you get in? Did you win a contest or something? Tell us more about it!!

I was thinking about SA and LMBTL- what if they translated SJNRDT and put it on LMBTL?! They've translated in the past, so they coulda done it this time. That song woulda so worked on LMBTL!

Well in 1998 when she was in her LTAL tour, a local book store (The Book Room) held an autograph session with Celine and the author of her biography. Around 400 to 500 people showed up. Now it was said that she would only sign for 30 minutes and would not speak to anyone as she was resting her voice before the show. When 4pm arrived she came out, grabbed the microphone and spoke to the crowd. She spoke to each an every one of us as we went up to her and she stayed until everyone had gotten an autograph.

I was nervous but spoke to her in French, but only managed to get out Hello, how are you. I said something else to her but I can't remember what it was. Anyway it was a great experience and she was lovely.

She did good with it, I think she just meant like Whitney's one of her idols. You know how we can't sing Celine's songs like her? That's what she meant I think :)

This song is beautiful, and I love both versions (Whitney's and Celine's).

I am a great fan of Whitney as well, she passed away too soon. RIP Whitney.

Koolan posted a topic about this. It's located on the main page of the forum in the recent topics section. The problems you are having are due to a server change that recently took place on the forum.

 

These issues that you mentioned should be temporary. Koolan did mention that things still have to get fixed with avatars and stuff, but you should check out the topic he created and if you have any problems Koolan said that people could right about them on there. :)

I was watching the Golden Globe Awards red carpet on Sunday and couldn't help noticing Emily Blunt's dress. It looks very much like a dress Celine sported on one of the Jerry Lewis Telethons.

It's almost identical except for the way it crosses at the top. LOL.

 

I don't know if anyone else noticed that, but when I saw Emily walking the red carpet, Celine was the first thought that popped into my mind.

(I guess I should explain. She is like a drug to me after following her for so long and this "break" is tough!)
