Wasn't sure where this would belong (either here or the board about the "Celine" show). So, feel free to move it.

 

It's a a short interview with Marc Ballas. He was asked about the last night he cried, and he mentioned two things and one of them was the "Celine" show.

It would have been nice if Céline tweeted about Nelson Mendela's death. Hey, she named her son after him and viewed him as an inspiration. I understand she is busy but it only takes a few seconds to make a statement.

Yes, but she doesn't do her own tweeting - Sony Music does. I'm sure she'll release a statement soon.

I know Céline doesn't tweet herself. In a recent interview she said she really couldn't think of what to say--now is the perfect occasion to express her feelings.

I wonder about the Phoenix picture on the CD, i know it was from the jewelery she use on the photoshoot, but, since the photoshoot is supposed to be for the SA or at least it was a year before LMBTL released, i wonder of it really mean something or just coincident, you know about the myth of Phoenix being the symbol of back to life that really fit with the song LMBTL, but we know that the song come near the end of the recording LMBTL.

I just found this article from 2011; I apologize if it was posted here before, I searched the forum for the name of the journal, but I did not see anything, so I thought I would provide the link.

 

It's an article from Journal La Presse, after the second night of Celine. It's kind of sad, actually (at least, the answer regarding Rene is sad to me). I did not know she wanted to do a Michael Jackson hologram, but couldn't because of the technology. Anyway, it's interesting.

 

Mods feel free to either move this to the Celine board if this is the wrong thread. I did not post it there, mostly because the article is so old and this part of the board seems to discuss her personal life more and song selections in general more than the Celine board itself. I also apologize if this was posted and I just couldn't find it.

She's talking about the hologrm for HDYKTMP "I'm anxious to finish the song because singing in the room between the spectators and, at first, they all want to touch me. There is a phobia, but I protect myself as much as possible not to get sick. And when we give a hand to everyone, this is endless." This is so funny to me because of all the footage from Paris recently with the crowds wanting to touch her! Just made me chuckle!

 

NMQP must be a favorite of Rene's because he wanted her to do it for Stade in '99.
