in Feb I believe- it's just her coat- it's really thick. Lots of ppl thought she was in these pics but the same week she was out and about and it was obvious she wasn't haha. Funny how clothes can add to you or take away! I wanna say this was after the LKL interview. I think it's 2nd day hair LOL. When did Alexander McQueen pass away? It was right after that. She was interviewed as she was coming out of this restaurant about that.

 

he died on the 11th of Feb- she taped LKL on the 8th I think...I think! So this must be right afterward that week. I could solve all of this by searching through the threads lol.

Hmmm I couldn't find any interviews or quotes from Beyonce but remember that she performed with Celine on the 2002 "A New Day Has Come" special as seen

 

There does seem to be mutual respect and appreciation there and I think that's clear to see. Obviously this was at a stage before Beyonce went solo but I think she admires and respects what Celine has achieved.

Sadly, however much we as fans wish to think otherwise, Celine isn't considered "cool" in the pop music arena these days. The rumour is Sony requested permission for the Will.I.Am version of "Eyes On Me" to be released as a single but they didn't wish for him to be associated with Celine musically.

 

I fear the same would happen with Beyonce sadly.

I Remember reading in a magazine that they were from the same collection but not the actual same dress, the magazine still said that celine would have felt embarassed, as beyonce wore it best, which even though they aren't the same dress, i still think celine looked best, maybe i'm biased though

They did say that both women found it quite funny and there was no hard feelings, which is totally believable.

So I've been reading some of the people's comments in the French section and it made me wonder about something: Has Celine always had asthma or did she developed it in the last couple of years?

I know she mentioned how she she had treatments for it when she was sick during Vegas rehearsals...but I don't remember ever hearing about it being a big problem otherwse??

That's why I'm asking because it sounds more like it is something that she has developed over the last couple of years in Vegas. But I read something in the French section that lead me to think that it is a big problem for her at times. She talks about it in ''For Keeps'', which is the first book that mentions it (I think). But Denise also talks about it in her new book. She talks for instance about one night where Celine excelled on stage during the tour even though she had trouble that day with her asthma. I also think that all those times she got sick during the tour were in some way related to the asthma. She always seem to get some kind of respiratory type of thing which is common for people suffering from asthma. Also there where they put the camera thing down her throat the second time and Rene is talking on the phone, her doc also mentions something about hyperinflation, which is also related to asthma. True, I forgot about the For Keeps mention. Maybe she just has a mild asthma at some times? Or it's possible she might have seasonal asthma? Regardless, the stress of the tour definitely would spark those kinds of things. Moving from different climates all the time, too. Seems like she's got it pretty well under control as it never really takes her out for TOO long. And I think we all know she can definitely hold a note for quite a while when she's feeling well

Yeah, well I think fitness plays a role. If you are fit you can controle it easily. Celine must be super fit, so I think that is why it only gets her down at certain times of the year.
