Well, I thought that the "studio version" (live version without audience) of SMGO would be in the movie DVD (as it was on the 2H version) but... :glare: :glare: :glare:

 

 

AHHHHH!!!!!! I HATE THEM! :cursing:

I know right the packaging people need to think it through. they should have a vote for people who went to the concert to vote for what goes on her concert albums so that way everyone can be happy!!!!!!!!! :laugh:

The Prayer and A Mother's Prayer are basically the same song :jawdrop: with minor lyric altercations and the fact that Andrea Bocelli isn't singing and A Mother's Prayer is completely in English. I feel so stupid :doh: , how could i have missed that?????? Did anyone else notice that or am i just freaking slow at noticing these things!!!! :whee:

And did you know there is The Prayer solo version (Celine only) and A Mother's Prayer (Celine only) that are different? The version Celine sang on the Quest For Camelot soundtrack is not the same as the song on Miracle, though people sometimes confuse them.

Last night something really weird happened to me. I usually sleep with my radio on. But the sound is so low that I can't always hear everything very clearly. Anyways. I usually go to bed atround 12:00 or 1:00, but for some reason I fell a sleep at around ten last night. But around two I woke up and ''It's All Coming Back To Me'' was playing on the radio. So I listened to the song and afterwards I heard the DJ talking about Celine and I only heard about every fifth word, but I could hear that he was talking about Celine's pregnancy. Suddenly I start panicking that something happenend to Celine or something and that it was like all over the internet or something. I actually had to get up and switch my computer on to see if everything was ok. But at the same time I didn't want to do it because I was scared of what I might find. I think I'm going crazy... :crazy: After that I kept waking up during the night. Edited by Claudette

My dad's cousin is pregnant with twin girls. It's family. And I'm telling you guys, believe it or not, I don't give a damn! :ohyeah: I mean, it's good for her, but seriously, I don't care.

But when it comes to Céline, I go crazy! My parents are like "She's family! Are we gonna be invited to the baptism of the twins or what? How is she today? Do you know if she had her sonogram today? Everything was okay?" :lol:

I hate how the daze of sleep can make you go nuts like that sometimes! I bet it would be really entertaining to see how we act when we're woken like that :lol:

:lol: Good thing nobody saw me last nigh because they would have locked me in a mental hospital. I mean getting up in the middle of the night to see if there is news on the forum about Celine... But it was horrible actually, I kept dreaming a load of rubbish after that too.

What album was "The Reason I go on" from? I downloaded it, and it said it was from the Taking Chances album, but I don't think it is!! Someone help? Thanks :thumbsup:

It was a bonus track for the album but i don't know if it was supposed 2 be for another country or anything like that etc.

Yes! Important point. I kind of thought though that the QFC version was also called A Mother's Prayer but I surely recall wrongly (is that grammatically correct? Just testing :) ).

 

I do prefer the solo version on the QFC OST over A Mother's Prayer (Miracle), even though it has a typical hollow "Disney sound" to it.

The Reason I Go On is from the Taking Chances album, but I think from a special edition. I can't remember which edition, but I read that somewhere. Hope that helps! :)

I remeber now! Wikipedia said it was a Japanese/Itunes bonus track! I love it too! I think it should have been on the regular album!

David Foster produced the album and probably wanted to leave his mark on it with "The Prayer" since he penned the song. More $$$ for him and another song recorded by Celine to add to his catalog.

There's basically only one song that was sang differently:

 

The Prayer is a duet w/ Andrea Boccelli

 

A Mother's Prayer is a solo re-written song of the prayer.

 

She only performed that song once "A Mother's Prayer" on Oprah in 2004

Thomas? :mellow: Anyway... there are 2 versions of CTTEOTW

-Theatrical version (2H)

When she sings The power of love in China the audio is from TCWT DVD (re-recorded playback) and the song in the credit at the end of the movie was a "studio version" of TSMGO (in fact it was the live version but with no audience noise)

-Extended DVD version/Director's cut (3H)

When she sings The power of love in China the audio is from A new day DVD (old playback) and there is no credit at the credit at the end of the movie.

I agree! I would love to choreograph a dance to Celine's version but I have no way of getting it on a CD AND there is annoying applause in the background!

 

Hopefully on her next CD???
