Does anybody else find it really weird that celinedion.com hasn't post anything new in the '' What's going on...'' section for days now? They always post something, even if it is some random ''Did you know...'' fact. :confused: I hope there's not something wrong.

Looking at the picture a bit further up this thread makes me wonder why the "gold disc" presentations seems to have died away in the music industry. This used to be a huge thing that record companies, and artists, used to aim for.

 

I remember during the "A New Day Has Come" promotion in the UK in 2002 Celine was presented with a disc in recognition of her album sales in the UK.

It's a shame it doesn't seem to happen anymore, or at least it's not mentioned anymore in the media.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there must be two versions of ''Falling Into You''. Am I dreaming this? I remember reading somewhere that Celine recorded it, but she was unhappy with the arrangement or something and told Rene afterwards and then went back and did it the way she wanted it, which I assume is the version we hear on the CD. Has anybody ever heard the first version?
