Can someone answer me this back when Vegas first started in early 03 and she did NB and the went into POL how did she switch from a whole suit (that looked like it included a shirt) into a red dress (the original outfits not the one's from after Nov. 03) did she do it in the dark or did she leave the stage does anyone here know? I didn't feel like starting a whole new thread just to ask that so I thought I'd pop it into this thread.

 

 

the suit she was wearing while performing NB was a tear of suit and underneath it she was wearing the red suit. It's like the black dress she wore later on the show.. the just tore it off her..

It's not Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore (I know that one quite well, lol), I figured out that it's actually S'il Suffisait D'aimer (which I'd never heard before)

 

 

I knew it was one of those two! I'm sorry... i was fastforwarding thru CTTEOTW to try to find it, and I heard slow french song, I thought PQTME :) Sorry hun. Yeah S'il suffaist d'aimer is beautiful too!

Can someone please tell me WHY those kind of topics are always merged with this one?!

 

It is totally different! It could be a very interesting topic, about Céline's image through the world and the different countries, about how people in general and then fans tend to see Céline, we could debate about all that stuff, and every time such a topic comes out, it gets lost in this thread!

sorry, thats probably my fault....im still kinda new to the forum and trying to figure things out :shy:

 

but heres a thought about celine-how she can distract her fans by her sheer talent! today i was walking to catch the bus listening to 'the reason i go on' , on my ipod and i almost walked into a shop window cos i was so into the music!!!

But I find the Today Show in 2002 is the live show.

Oh thanks! I always tought that she only recorded 1 "Today show" ---> The one where she sang IDAN, HYEBIL & LCMM ( :blushing1: )

 

She has been on the Today Show quite a bit actually....1998, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2007....

When she performed that show with Elton John in2006 she is wearing a red dress similar to the regular red dress she used to wear in AND....was a modificated dress or a totally different dress for that ocation and just it happens to be red like the one she used to wear...am i making myself clear ot I lost you guys? hahah

I really listened and payed attention to the lyrics in A World To Believe In.. I think it's making it's way up to my top Celine songs :) I meean it perfectly describes how I feel about my family, especially my Grandma, parents, and sister!

it's worth it, if you don't have the cd/dvd already... it's a cool item, but if you're not a big collector, I guess it has no use...

OMG. Celine was just mentioned on Entertainment Tonight. Sheryl Hickey was talking about the past five years working for ET and she said her most memorible moment on the show was when she did an interview with Celine.

 

It was in 2006 at Vegas. She basically said Celine credits her family for her fame, the struggles to have RC, and returning to Las Vegas in 2011 after her twins are born.

 

They actually talked about her for a good 2 - 3 minutes. It was all old news, but it felt so good to see her on tv!! :)

Btw: the piano version of Skies of LA is amazing :wub: but those "and now another song from the Taking chances tour DVD! don't forget to buy it too" scenes are really starting to p*** me off! :ranting: 3H my #ss!

Yeah so have i :) i just thought it was kinda random haha! Does she even have her ears pierced Lol ive never seen the holes in her ears , unless they airbrush them out in pictures or something! :P

I think she does, but she doesn't wear earrings that much on stage because of all the costume changes and stuff. I mean it could easily get ripped out. Plus it is probably a nuisance to change your earrings for every costume.

 

Edit: I think she might wear clip-on earrings. Watch this video of her where her one earring falls out/off and then she takes the other one out. :shrug:

Yeaah! Clip on ear rings is what i thought , but all that expensive jewellery is clip on? i didnt think the designer jewellery she wore would be clip on haha!

When was that picture taken though? Remember the holes can close again. So who knows if she still has them. Maybe Frida can help us.
