Correct me if I'm wrong, but Celine has done some naked scenes in that French mini series (can't remember the name) when she was younger. I don't think you could see that much, but she was still naked...

 

Edit: My post doesn't make sense now. It was meant for Ester's first post. Anyways, the peeing thing is just wrong. I don't blame her for refusing that.

Yeah you can see a part of a nibble when she's taking a bath in the mini series

Then there is that see through "net" dress she wore at the grammy's. You can see her butt there as well as her boobs (not clearly)

And then there is the see through outfit she wore at the press conference after the AND premiere. In one photo you can see her boobs :laugh:

The Collector's Series, Volume one poster, you see her one boob (not clearly, I have it hanging on my wall :blushing1: )

Years ago Celine was approached to play the role of Edith Piaf, but she refused to do it because they wanted her to get naked in one scene/pee on stage (the peeing thing sounds more familiar to me now in any case).

 

Edit: Ester, what outfit from the press conference after AND are you talking about?

 

There are also a couple of steamy scenes in some of her music videos... so I don't think the naked thing is true.

I often, VERY often don't get art!

 

IMO artists or people working in art are sometimes psychos.

Like this guy who painted a red painting .. it was just RED and he got payed lots of $$$. I just don't get it!

And this other guy from Iceland who got sponsored to work in Venice and all he did was paint this same guy in red speedos 160 times! and people are willing to buy his stuff! But he will only sell it if all the 160 paintings stay together! psycho! I don't get it

Really, she wears contact lenses? I've never seen it. I have contact lenses and you can usually see the lenses close up, so you should be able to see it in those HQ pics we have. I don't have those posters you are talking about, so I don't know about that era. Maybe she had lazer surgery at some point after that, because in the latest pictures she definitely does not have lenses in.

 

 

I don't know where I read that, if I have the time I'll do some researches, but actually, she has a very good sight. She said she sometimes wears glasses as an accessory, just because it's fun.

On the DVD of "Celine Through The Eyes Of The World" there's a point where Celine is singing a song in French. I've never heard the song before and I thought it was so beautiful and I'm dying to get it. Can anyone tell me what the song was and what album it's on??? Please help!!!

Those are the only songs I can think of, that come on in CTTEOTW. She has the french TC album, "La Tournee Mondiale Taking Chances: Le Spectacle. You can look up the list of songs on there, see if any of them sound similar :)

What song besides "I got nothing left" does Celine sing, that has a bad word in it? It's not really bad, it's damn, but are there any other songs that you all know of, that Celine says a 'bad' word in?

She's supposed to say damn in Why Oh Why but she doesn't, also she leaves out some of the lines in it from whats listed on the lyrics on her site.

Can someone answer me this back when Vegas first started in early 03 and she did NB and the went into POL how did she switch from a whole suit (that looked like it included a shirt) into a red dress (the original outfits not the one's from after Nov. 03) did she do it in the dark or did she leave the stage does anyone here know? I didn't feel like starting a whole new thread just to ask that so I thought I'd pop it into this thread.

ahhhh I'm so happy!!!! :)

 

My dad was listening to music like crazy today, to the point of being annoying! but then he asked me if I had the Celine movie that we went to see (TTEOTW) Of course I do, in three versions :giggle: I brought down the concert, since I figured he wanted to hear the music. It turned out he bought a new surround system and wanted to see if I could notice the difference in sound. I figured he would only want to hear one song, two at the most, so I tried to think of the perfect song! but he told me to start at the beginning, and then we watched the whole concert!! He absolutely loved LCMM and I kept wondering what he would think about her skimpy outfits, leg kicks, and songs like EOM...all he said was that she's a cheerleader (during RDMH) :laugh: He enjoyed watching the concert, but did make the comment that Celine is one of the greatest female voices ever, and doesn't need all the dancing, costume changes, and all that. Just her and her voice. Though it turned out well because I told him that she did that in the 90's. So...now we're going to watch one of her earlier concerts. I just got to figure out which one. I would love to show him Live a Paris, but since he doesn't know French, probably not the best choice. I'll probably go with The Colour of My Love.

 

Ooh, I'm so excited!!!!!! :yahoo: doesn't sound like a big deal, but I always figured that my dad doesn't like Celine, and to share something with him that means a lot to me, it's very special :wub:
