I guess it depends on what type of movie it was. If it was a comedy then I'd have to say Leslie Nielsen or Steve Martin.

....Celine would need MAJOR training before acting in a film. She is a singer....and far too over-the-top and dramatic to take on a serious role. She could nail ANY singing part - but would need to simplify her natural instincts significantly in order to take on a role any time soon.

 

But I have full faith she could accomplish that.

 

With that said, I would want her with someone strong enough to help carry her through the movie - and compliment her.

Hmm, this is a hard one... Maybe she didn't need one, I'd prefer seeing her in the only leading role of the movie. ^_^

 

But if there had to be someone, I tried to think who would be like "dignified" enough to play beside Céline, and perhaps that someone could be Sean Connery. B)

Or then some French actor could be it... Or, Barbra Streisand!

But it would definitely have to be a musical! :)

Let's not forget her acting during DES FLEURS SUR LA NEIGE. She did a fantastic job, even though it was low-budget!!!!

 

I'd say a musical with Antonio Banderas.

 

Or a romatic comedy with Hugh Jackman.

I don't know if Celine will ever play a role in a movie, maybe she will play the role of Maria Callas... no one knows for sure. But all I know is that, being Maria Callas, she won't need an actor to support her in her leading role, coz Maria Callas loved only one man in her life and he dumped her... she didn't have a happy love life...

 

So, I am not sure about a leading role actor for Celine... Maybe Antonio Banderas or George Clooney :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

But I just hope she won't be acting on a romantic or drama movie. :confused:

I am so tired of singers who always play roles on Romantic movies. :ermm: :ermm: :ermm: It is always THE SAME THING: they are singers, they fall in love with someone, and bla bla bla :laugh: :laugh: :whistling: :whistling:
