At least not Tuesday since the band is there, they would never have been asked to join. But there is no way for us to know what will happen. I understand that fans are scared/nervous.

I just hope people aren’t expecting our usual pitch perfect, energetic, belt it out Celine because honestly i see her being VERY careful with what she does vocally until she knows its all under control

Yeah. If she gets like 5 shows in and feels in any way uncomfortable straight away just phone in and cancel it because she literally cannot afford to Cancel Asia again and all the world wide press this has got im just HOPING she goes through with it

 

I see her possibly droppig TT as much as it pains me because shes going to need to be careful vocally at this point. I cant see her going all out and belting out those huge notes and when technically shes still recovering.

 

I also see her possibly being very careful and maybe dodging a few notes especially during LCMM/RDMH etc. Or possibly (hopefully not) temporary playback until shes back in shape.

Common sense is NOT risking getting sick for a one off performance just 2 days before an entire leg of shows starts.

 

She is not dying...

If doing one perf is a risk now to get sick... then the first show 2 days after is also a risk and she might cancel the second.

It's not like in 2 days her health situation will change...

It's not the performance itself, it's being around all of those people. And health can change in 24 hours. Health is never a guarantee. She can isolate herself as much as possible with the Vegas show. She can stay home til the last minute, no meet and greets, do show and go home. The Billboards she would have to do red carpet, schmooze with reporters and other celebrities. It's a much more contagious venue.

Not including how arid (dry) it is in that venue and just Vegas in general it could mess up her chords where as Vegas is all temprature and humidity controlled and is all isolated as you said

I will say I'm surprised Celine is not making an appearance at the Billboard Awards even to present an award. I can guarantee you they asked her. However, one of two reasons she has not accepted (at least to date), in my opinion are: 1) she's either busy doing other things and is booked and cannot make it 2) she is really playing it very careful to not get sick/over due it with the amount of shows she's cancelled to date.

 

I don't think she will cancel May 22 , the start of her first show next week. We would have known by now if the surgery did not go well and her singing was not up to par.

 

My hunch is my #2 reason and I bet you she will not be present at Billboard Awards

Maybe they will do a little pre-filmed promo montage thingy. So she can at least get some exposure! This song needs exposure if it's going to win the Oscar or Grammy next year.
