Now just from that comment on CNN, lots of press reporting on a Céline and Lady Gaga collaboration.

Even one heading says "Céline Dion wants a duet with Lady Gaga". Anything for a click!!! :doh:

Well, we can only hope she will! :) She should do more stuff with relevant superstars... :) (But please don't get started on that Gaga isn't relevant no longer, to me she is :) )

 

Gaga, lead Dion into either or both territories of eltropopdance och jazz, pleeeaaaaaase! Céline's voice is so suitable and least explored in both genres!

Yeah I searched Celine Dion and Lady Gaga on Google, ALL the BIG media sites talk about it.

 

OK, eventhough we had little disappointing moments from the NYE broadcasting, we still managed to get some media coverage in a positive way. lol :clap:

OK, eventhough we had little disappointing moments from the NYE broadcasting, we still managed to get some media coverage in a positive way. lol :clap:

 

And at the end it is a winning press as she appears, as always, as a classy, good hearted lady.

 

Basicaĺly the opposite of almost every body else. Thinking of a very few who you could say do not brag or shade, like for instance Shania. Maybe it is a Canadian thing lol

Celine, during the new years interview, appeared as exaclty who she is , a classy, generous, loving,and good hearted lady. She is above all a role model. I remember Rene saying that what he most admired about her was that she remained grounded and she was exactly what she appeared to be in interviews and in front of the cameras. That's just who she is. Of course she was going to praise Lady Gaga ,first because she likes her, and second because she would never say bad things about other artists. I believe that so many love her not just becuase of the fact that she is a talented and amazing performer but above all because she is an honest caring human being!

I usually don't like his videos ( well, I don't dislike them either, just they're so repetive) but I like this one. He says things without overdramatizing them and if he admits some things should be good for her , well things are what they are and she still got it. :-D

I loved her part too!!

 

But I could tell he was shocked. He kept saying come on cause I think he didn’t think she could get any better!

Me too. Just ran into them on youtube tonight. Was gonna post the New Years Eve one here but saw it was already posted.

 

Like his reaction to Map To My Heart and I Finally Found Someone (I realised how much I love her singin on IFFS, the way she does the low parts in the beginning is so fab, wish she sang like this more + her "Piaf-esque" vibrato she normally only uses in her French performances here sounding in an English performance, sounds sooo goood!). Now watching TLBSEPT. :)

They should have filmed me lol I was so into Plus Qu’Ailleurs, dancing around to L’étoile, and then about to fall out of my chair when I was listing to the epic ness that is Ma Faille :wub2:

i had albums from the three of them.. :) I have just Celine now because she is from around here. And she is the best. :)

i was liking Plus qu'ailleurs at the beginning , but Si c,était à refaire is now my favorite. And it was great in shows, but her voice was different in 2016, would not have been as good. But by being so fragile , her voice softer , she gained in other departments. I think very different but good for diifferent reasons.

I believe they simply didn't have (as in: didn't want to spend) the money or the broadcasting rights to broadcast the whole song. It's all about rights and licensing.

There is no specific topic for the CNN interview?!? I think we should create one (n transfer the ccn comments on to that thread).

 

So about the CNN interview, i think it was a hit and miss opportunity from her promoting team. They could have required Andy Cohen or Anderson Cooper to ask her: “Are you, Celine, making new musique for anytime soon?”

 

But no, we got news from lagy gaga upcoming residency in Vegas.

Very good point! I kinda didn't miss that since she rarely talkes about her Music (at least not in the English career). Even when a new album is actually out.... But a very good point indeed!
