For those that are interested in developing vocal ability, Celine is a guru. Her melissma is unlike anything the industry has ever heard, her transitions from chest belts to head voice are divine, her runs are so clear you can hear every single note on the scale, the clarity in her voice is amongst the best and boy don't we know about those belts and power. Why wouldn't you market her as live performer when she has such a prolific vocal arsenal. We are blessed to be living in an Era where we have the opportunity to see such technical mastery that comes once in a generation live. So I say, yes more Celine Live tours please!

I do understand some of the frustration Javito has with these tours.

 

I rather have a concert full with new songs from the new album. D'elles, TC, SA, LMBTL, EUS. Complete with a whole new design that fits the album she performs at that moment.

 

And in the end, if she decides to come every year and sing the alphabet I still would buy tickets haha

All those artists you mention are either promoting their last album, celebrating the anniversary of an iconic album of them, a greatest hits release, or have a concept behind their act. Céline's reason for her 2017 and 2018 tours is... ¿?

 

Two tours that are titled simply "Live 201X". The sole title denotes the lack of purpose behind them, as well as the absolute lack of inspiration and creativity from her team, who is unable to come up with a title for a tour.

 

Maybe because after all, there's no reason for it to happen other than milking the singing machine of her 90s hits that she is today?

 

Sooooo...then why did you spend the money to go such an unimaginative tour?

For most of us here, I mean fans in Indonesia, this tour means so much to us, with or without new music, though the ticket is the most expensive among asia, we still buy it anyway, some of us maybe can go to neighbour country with less expensive ticket, but we still choose to wellcoming Celine in our own country. Even my friend who stay in Europe and has witnessed her 2017 concert, she still back to Indonesia to watch Celine here, few others who has been living in another country, they choose to back to Indonesia to attend the concert, that how important this tour to some of us.

We all thought it was strange when Céline toured BEFORE releasing EUS. But it was a very successful way to promote an upcoming album... I guess it will be the same for the new English album. We will see very soon.

 

In the meantime please stop complaining about the same old tour, the rare albums, etc. (you know who you are...)

And one advice: be positive once in a while and you will see the world (and your idol) in a different light. So much complaining is not healthy for you and the ones around you.

Has anybody heard about a possible 2nd show in Tokyo? On the wikipedia page of the Tokyo Dome, it's written that Céline should perform on June 26 and 27...but still nothing confirmed. Does anybody know how tickets sale is going?
