Netflix is good, Netflix is the trendy thing for everyone now in the audiovisual industry, and another movie like TTEOTW would be fantastic, but still, that's NOT the joy and pleasure of a full concert released on DVD/Bluray for us the demanding fans

 

We know what we want, and we want the FULL shows released, not edited/cut into a documentary that in the end will tell everything we know already

Id prefer something moreee. In depth. Id prefer if it was all about the show development, costume choice, set list development, rehersals, soundchecks, things they did in countries with full performances of the rarer songs explaining where the idea came from

my friends recorded the audio for the sound check i will upload it once i got them,

for sound check i think there's some problem

she started with TPOL and she restart it at least twice.... and she didn't sing "cause I'm your lady" in full voice and she just sings very different to the song's melody.

she also restart Kiss like at least 3 times... but the rest just goes on!

 

and yes there's full concert audio too

It is really touching reading the comments on instagrams, how most of the people share similar feelings while watching the show.

 

-they have been listening to her albums since they were a kid or teenager, this concert brings back all there precious memories

-they feel complete that they could finally watch Celine live after 20 years

-they are amazed by her voice and her charisma

-many of them cried throughout the concert

-the long wait and high ticket price are all worth it

-such a first class show and first class performer

-impressed with how well she has protected her voice and how fit she is.

Hmm i remember the dancers rehearsal for tcwt we managed to gain footage of....that description just given of tpol rehearsal from today sounds reminiscent of that dance rehearsal....sad she is so over this song she doesn't even care to attempt... i wonder if that is how it often sounds under the playback.

What do you mean they only recorded the first night? the 2nd night will be on Friday July 13. (FRIDAY THE 13th!! OMG!)

It was told that the first night in Tokyo would be recorded in order to be broadcasted in august.

A documentary being released on Netflix doesn't mean it's not going to be released later on DVD/BLURAY. Barbra's last concert was recorded for Netflix but it was released later in physical cds. Maybe they sold the rights to stream it for let's say, 6 months only on the platform and then they can release it.

well i hope it is not that Tokyo show! they should have recorded all of the concerts and then pick the best out of it! Macau or Jakarta would have been best!

Last nights performance of the reason was arguably her best between both tours. Video quality of this one was pretty poor but it appeared much easier on the closed syllable belts toward the end which tends to give her the hardest time. Everything else was on point. 2:33 and 2:53

you think so??? she is so rich - and she works hard for it. But recording the audio is not such a big thing, video on the other hand .

I felt the same after her concert last year it was a sence of completeness and joy. She is such a huge part of her fans‘ lives, it’s amazing! Her music shaped us a lot and carried us through different times in our lives. Being at her concert is a very powerful and unique experience.
