Maybe they will release a DVD with all the best moments of Celine 2016, 2017 and 2018. Who knows...

Theyve recorded almost every show. First the Tokyo announcement, then the crane cameras in Macau. The extra cameras in Singapore and now audience recording in Jakarta.

 

I think Celine may be doing a summer tour documentary similar to what Mariah did with her 2016 reality show Mariahs World which was about her tour. Id love that.

 

People have been saying for a bit that shes doing a BTS for the tour but i think it may be more than that. Id love a multi part documentary for this tour, maybe it could be a reality tv series like Mariahs World or it could be a documentary like TTEOW. Who knows

Despite the fact the setlist is not as good as the 2016/2017 setlist.

 

My guess is that a live in Asia dvd will sell better. Especially since they go crazy for her.

To record their reactions. They need it for the documentary or a preview

I doubt a reality TV show, but bts disc special or something about her 3 summer tours would be really neat.

I remember seeing these mics in pix of previous concerts of this tour, I can't remember whether it was the Tokyo concert or the Vegas rehearsal shows.

 

Just did some quick google search, some people use this technique so that the performer could get a feed of crowds reaction in their ear monitor too.

From what i've seen there were cameras fallowing her everywhere in Jakarta

We can see at the airport when she arrived, the meet and greet, in mhwgo at the climax there was a camera man behind her also those mics ...

Nothing "is" terrible. Maybe YOU don't like it, that's YOUR opinion. I'm really happy Céline doesn't give damn what some so called fans say about her hair or whatever. Watch again her interview where they talked about how excited she was changing to blonde and was forced to change back to brown hair.

Give it a rest. This tour has dates specifically far apart and Celine herself said this tour is for the shows yes, but when shes not on stage its a vacation with her family and friends. Thats why shes always out and about when not performing.... shes a human who doesnt want everything to revolve around one thing thats not at the forefront of her mind right now.

 

It makes tons of sense to add songs post Asia as Australia and New Zealand are different continents and locations. She was never going to rehearse and do new songs every show, even if she was the massive time off work with her surgery, think about it. In January and February when she was off she had no idea that her illness would progress so she didnt bother much with rehersals etc but then it did.

 

It really annoys me that rather than let her have time off inbetween shows you want couped up rehersing new songs and you only want that because shes coming to Manila (the show youre going to matter of factly).

 

 

and it ain’t gonna happen of course! I think it is good that this time she is not busy around her hotels and indeed celebrates her free days and enjoys the country she is visiting.

Like said before - adding other songs in such a short amount of time means not only a new song for her but also a complete new arrangement for the band, new visuals on the screens plus a new specific lights plan for that particular song.

I'm gonna write my experience of The Jakarta Concert now because I'm already sober from my Celine Drunk LOL.

 

So I was rooting for this concert even before the announcement, I kept an eye of the sales. since we can not see how many left available seat, some fans were worried it can not be sold out because of the expensive ticket prices.

When we were there and the opening act gonna start, the empty seat is more than half. we were so nervous, what if it gonna stay that way until the show end. Then Veronic came on stage. we were forgot about empty seat for a while. Veronic is so entertaining, she's worth to watch. when her part end, there's still , many seat empty. but people keep coming, and when the show about to start, still many people keep coming.

Celine start to sing in the dark, people cheers, and when the light is on, the seat almost full, I think it went full house when she sang TTWI. People claping, standing, dancing and sing along. but the security ask us to take a seat. it keep that way when she sang IA. I saw people still moving their body in their seat, I think they want to dance if the security did't ask us to take a seat.

I can't believe people keep sing along with the most of the song, I thought it's her backing vocals, but it sound like a choir. the audience were really alive through out the concert. they keep cheering, clapping and shouting "I love you" in every moment". I saw people from teenager to elderly sing along and dance. everybody is on their feet when she sang RDMH. I know I was bored to death with that song and always skip it when I watch her concert on YouTube. but when I was there, everybody sing along and dance, and I'm no exception. It was crazy. I never thought Celine concert in Indonesia would be like that. people loved her so much. I read some local celebrities comment about the concert, they were so impressed and amazed, in her 50 she slay that vocal and gave a great show. the concert that most of us bashed here.

It was really a night to remember. I know what to expect, but I didn't know it would be that great. so many people left in tears of joy that night.

I'm so glad that the REAL audience feel that way. The reaction is fantastic!

 

The only thing they care is that CAN Celine STILL DELIVER? And SHE CAN! That's why they're so amazed.

About the setlist that many worry:

 

Yes, the setlist is not perfect but all in all this is not the setlist for Celine Dion Forum's Users (who might have already watched all of her concerts for hundred times ). It is the setlist for Asian general public/fans who have never seen her in their "entire" lives. The Reason, Falling Into You, To Love You More, That's The Way It Is. etc. are quite polular Celine's songs in Asia and they included them. And to be honest, the real audience don't really care much about the entire setlist. They largely go to see her sing LIVE the top 5 songs they know about Celine Dion. And That's it!!!

 

And the reaction from the REAL audience can really prove that the actual concert is great for them.

I read some local media review and audience about this concert. and you know what they praise about ? it's her voice, her humbleness, her simplicity, they praise about how Celine can deliver a great show without glamorous, dancer, high tech etc. it's just her. they only need and want her.

The only one article that has a little complain is the one that interviewed me LOL. I just complain about the same set list. but over all, it's good review.

so, what we argue about in this forum is not represent the majority of her fans.

Well... Idk it seems this setlist is more "commercial" than last year's one i have no idea but i have the feeling that something can come up later
